Jennifer ran back to her room, tears running down her face.
"Jennifer" Brian said as he finally caught her and embraced her in a much needed hug.
"How could he...how could I" she said quietly as she rested her head on Brian's shoulder
"shh, its ok" he told her as he guided her into her room.
"No, its not ok, what have I done?" she said as he set her down on the couch.
"Nick is just confused. He doesnt love that girl, he just wants to prove a point to you, and to himself" Brian said confidentally
"How do you know?"
"Nick is my best friend, I know him like the back of my hand" he said with a smile
"I wasnt really flirting with Justin. The magazine made it seem like I was all over him. I was just playing around, you know, like I do with AJ sometimes"
"I know"
"But Nick doesnt"
"Jennifer" Brian said, looking her intently in the eyes, "Nick loves you, and I know he would never purposely hurt you, and I am confident that if you give him time, then he will open back up to you and you can talk to him"
"Thanks Brian" she said as she hugged him
"Is that a smile I see on your face?" Brian said teasing her
"No" she said, trying to fake a frown
"Come on, lets go get some dessert" he said grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the room.
The two headed left the hotel and shared 2 ice cream sundaes at the nearby ice cream shop.
Meanwhile...
"So what are you up to tonight?" Sarah asked Alyssa
"Nothing" Alyssa said with a evil grin on her face
"Well your awful dressed up for nothing" Sarah said with a laugh
"Well, me and AJ are going to have dinner at this fancy little restaurant" Alyssa said, her face beaming
"Ah, so now your with AJ" Sarah said laughing
"Yeah"
"How did this come about?"
"Well I was with Howie and AJ and I commented on how I missed real food, you know, I'm so sick of fast food and that pasta and salad before the concerts. So anyways, AJ was like me too, why dont we go get dinner somewhere really nice. So of course I said yes. I mean, come on, fancy dinner with a SEXY guy, who could say no!" Alyssa said as someone began knocking on the door. "This must be AJ, see ya" she called to Sarah as she opened the door.
"Oh, hi Nick" Alyssa said as Nick pushed his way into the room
"Dont sound too disappointed" he said sarcastically. "Wheres Jennifer" he said looking around the room
"Um, shes not here" Sarah said
"Where is she, where did she go?" he demanded
"I saw her leave a little bit ago" Alyssa said, now confused
"Where did she go? Who is she with?" he asked quickly
"I dont know where she went, but she left with some blonde guy" Alyssa said
"Some blonde guy" Nick repeated angrily
"Geez, dont start anymore trouble, the blonde guy was Brian, who was comforting her after she ran into YOU" Sarah told him
"Whatever" Nick said as he ran out of the room, determined to find her.
There was another knock on the door. "This better be AJ" Alyssa said as she answered it. To her surprise it was AJ, holding a single red rose in the mouth.
"For you beautiful" he said handing her the rose
"Aw, thats so sweet" she said taking the rose and placing it on her pillow.
They waved bye to Sarah and left hand in hand.
Meanwhile...
"Thanks for dessert" Jennifer said as Brian walked her to her room
"No problem" he said as he kissed her goodnight on the cheek.
"Good night"
"Good Night" she replied as she opened her door. She froze when she walked in. Her room was covered in red roses. They were on her bed, the dressed, the tv, the table...everywhere. 'What is this?' she asked herself.
At that moment Nick walked out her bathroom. She jumped for a moment before realizing who it was.
"Nick?"
He smiled at her. "Jennifer?" he teased back.
"I dont understand" she said. "Arent you mad at me?"
"Is there a reason I should be" he asked coyly
She stared at him with a very confused look on her face.
"Listen, Jenn, I love you, and nothing will ever change that, got it" he said as he walked over and placed his arms around her tiny waist.
"So you dont care about what Rolling Stone accused me of doing?"
"Did you do it?"
"No, of course not, we were just playing around"
"I know"
"You do?"
"Well Justin called me after he read the article and explained that nothing happened. He figured that we might be going through some problems because he did with his girlfriend Britney. So he decided to call me and explain it all."
"Oh" was all Jennifer could say. She was so happy to be back with Nick and she made a silent promise to herself that from now on she wouldnt let this happen again.
