"Get in!" Nick playful laughed at Jennifer who was debating jumping in the cold ocean water.
"It looks colder than I thought" Jennifer replied
"Chicken" Nick yelled as he splashed her
"AHH" Jennifer screamed as the water hit her "Thats it Mr Carter, your gonna get it now" she yelled as she started splashing him. This started a water fight between the 2 that ended in 2 very wet people.
"Well, now that your completely soaked, you might as well get on your equiptment and get in" Nick said in between laughing at her. "Your so cute when your mad" he joked. "Actually" he added, "your cute all the time" he smiled, hoping she would like his comment.
"Now I know why all the girls love you Nick Carter"
"What, you didnt know just by looking at me?" he joked
"Dont give yourself that uch credit" she teased
"Well, lets go diving" Nick suggested
"Ok" she said smiling He helped her into her gear and then they jumped into the dark ocean.
A little while later
"That was so much fun" Jennifer said smiling, as Nick helped her into the boat.
"Yeah" he said, returning her smile
"Well, we better head back" Jennifer said
"Yeah, but first can I do something?" Nick asked, looking at her with that puppy dog looked she couldnt resist
"Whats that?" she asked inquisitively.
Nick didnt answer her question, instead he walked over to her and kissed her. Not just any kiss, but one filled with true love and passion. Jennifer equally returned his kiss. They kissed under the moonlight and then cuddled up next to each other. The only sound you could here was the ocean beating against the boat and the sound of each others heartbeat.
Jennifer awoke to the sun shining in her face. It took her a moment to figure out where she was. "Nick, Nick" she said quietly, as if not wanting to disturb the silence. "What is it sweetie?" he asked
"Lets watch the sun rise" she suggested
"I dont know if I can take my eyes off of you for that long" he said smiling at her.
"Aww" was all Jennifer could manage to say. "Thank you for making my dreams come true Nick Carter" she said smiling back at him.
"I love you" he told her
"I love you too" she said back
After the sun rose they headed back towards shore. Nick carried Jennifer back to the hotel in his arms. He wanted to hold her close forever.
"Uh oh" AJ muttered
"What?" Howie asked
"Here comes Nick" AJ replied
"And here comes Amanda" Howie added
"Nick..Nick"
Nick looked around trying to find out where the voice was coming from. Probably a fan he thought, but something told him he had heard that voice before. HE didnt have time to think about it anymore before he was face to face with Amanda.
"Nick, wow, look what the cat dragged in, another helpless girl sucked into your pathetic little life" she said, referring to the very confused Jennifer, who was still in his arms.
"Um, hi" he muttered back to her. She was the last person he wanted to see.
"We need to talk...alone" she said in a stern voice
"Um, I'll catch up to you in a minute Jenn" he said
"Ok" she replied as she walked away somewhat confused
"What is it Amanda" Nick demanded, ready to get away from her already
"Well well Mr Carter, I just wanted to tell you that you'll be a daddy soon" she said sarcastically
"WHAT? how?" he demanded
"What do you mean how? Your dumber than I thought"
"How do you know its mine" he demanded, now even more upset
"Trust me, I know" she said
"Anyways, I dont need this right now, so we'll meet with my lawyer next week" she said as she walked away
"Lawyer?" he asked
"Yeah, so we can arrange something" she said as she got in her car and drove off
Nick sat down on a nearby bench and tears filled his eyes. What have I done? he asked himself.
At the same time...
"Who is she" Jennifer asked AJ and Howie
"Um, just an old friend" they mumbled
"She sure seemed like more than a friend to me" Jennifer said
"Um, you'll have to talk to Nick about this one, cause I'm not going to get involved, sorry" Howie said as AJ agreed.
"Fine" Jennifer said as she walked back to her room
"So what are you going to do with Alyssa?" Howie asked as soon as Jennifer was out of sight
"I dont know" AJ sighed "At least we didnt go all the way or I could end up like poor Nick"
"Yeah, thats true" Howie replied
"Well, we better go sort things out and pack because the bus leaves in a few hours" AJ said
At the same time...
As the elevator door opened Jennifer decided to check up on Caitlyn and tell her about her evening with Nick.
"Caitlyn" she called as she knocked on the door.
"Coming"
"Whats wrong?" Jennifer asked when she saw her friend, who looked as if she had been crying most of the night.
"Did you know Brian has a girlfriend?" she asked
"He does?"
"Yeah, and ask me how I found out"
"How?"
"Because I tried to kiss him" Caitlyn answered as she burst into tears again.
"Dont worry sweetie" Jennifer comforted her friend. "I'll help you pack, you just lay down" she said
Later on...
"Nick? Are you in here?" Jennifer asked as she approached his hotel room door.
"Yeah" he said, afraid to face Jennifer since he knew she would ask about Amanda
"Are you ok?" she asked when she saw him.
"Yeah" he said
"You look like you were crying" she exclaimed
"No, there was just something in my eye" he lied
"Um, I know you dont want to tell me, and I wont pressure you, but I am curious. Who was that girl?" Jennifer asked
He didnt want to tell her, but he knew she would be hurt if he didnt. "My ex-girlfriend" he said, unable to look her in the eyes
"Oh" Jennifer said, unable to think of anything more intelligent to say. "Well, I guess I better finish packing my stuff" she said as she turned and walked away.
"Wait" Nick called after her
"What" Jennifer said, not wanting to turn around and look at him. She knew there was something going on between Nick and Amanda and she was hurt he wouldnt talk to her about it.
"I meant what I said" Nick said
"What?" Jennifer asked as she began to walk away.
"I love you" he called to her as she entered the elevator
If he loves me so much, she thought, why wont he talk to me.
Later that day...
"Everyone all set? James asked one last time before he left the bus.
"Yeah James, thanks" Jennifer replied
"Ok, see you in Miami" he said
