"Its so pretty out here" Jennifer said as she walked hand in hand with Chris down the beach
"Not as pretty as you" he said smiling at her
"Aw, your so sweet" Jennifer smiled, "Now what do you want" she joked
"What do you mean?" he asked
"You being so nice, now what do you want" she laughed
"You"
"Well I'm afraid that you cant have"
"Why?"
"Because, well, first of all, you dont even know me" she continued, "and second..."
"Shh" he whispered as he began to kiss her. At first she didnt resist. Whats a simple kiss anyways she told herself. After their kiss he pulled away. "Lets sit down" he said
"Ok" Jennifer replied
They sat down. Chris leaned in for yet another kiss, however this time he didnt stop there. He began trying to untie the back of her shirt.
"Stop" she screamed but there was no one to here
Chris was much stronger than her and very built, one of the things that attracted her to begin with. HE manager to get the back of her shirt undone despite her resist.
"Chris what the hell is you problem, stop" she screamed, trying to break away from his grasp.
"This will be a lot easier if you calm down" he said as he forced her to lay down
"Help" she continued screaming
"Get the hell away from her" someone yelled from a few feet away
"And who the hell do you think you are?" Chris demanded
"It doesnt matter, just get away from her" he continued
"Nick?" Jennifer exclaimed as soon as chris loosened his grasp on her
Chris, now very upset, walked over towards Nick and swung his fist towards Nicks temple. Nick ducked and Chris missed. All of a sudden someone came up behind Chris and hit him so hard he fell into the sand.
"Steve?" Nick said as soon as he realized who saved him. "What are you doing here?" Nick asked
"Its my job" he said, "I'm your bodyguard, remember"
"Thanks man. But how did you find us?" Nick asked
"I went to the club to make sure Jennifer didnt kick your ass for following her there, and Sarah told me that you ran after Jennifer because you had a bad feeling, so I figured I'd check it all out"
"Thanks" Jennifer said, still sitting covered in sand where Chris left her.
"No problem" he smiled. "Well, I better take this guy to the police, Nick, you can take care of the rest" he smiled as he winked at Nick.
When Steve was out of sight Nick ran over to Jennifer and held her close. "I'm so sorry I didnt get here sooner. Are you ok?" he asked, very concerned about her.
Jennifer began to cry and Nick just held her closer. "I was so scared" she sobbed.
"Its ok, I'm here now. Just close you eyes and forget about it." He gently kissed her forhead and Jennifer somehow knew everything was ok and the way it should be. They sat in silence.
"I love you" Nick said, finally breaking up the quiet.
"I love you too" she wispered in his ear. Those were the words he had longed to hear since they fought. He kissed her passionately like he did the night on the boat. After their kiss he carried her back to the hotel.
"Dont leave me Nick" she said, holding back tears
"I wont, I promise" he told her as he walked right past her room. They entered Nick's room and he placed her on his bed.
"Here, you can sleep in one of my shirts" he said, handing her his oversized cotton t-shirt.
"Thank you" she said before changing.
That night Jennifer fell asleep in the comfort of his arms. She felt completely safe from everything.
The Next Morning...
"Thanks for letting me stay with you" Jennifer said as she watched Nick comb his beautiful blonde hair in the mirror.
"Thanks for staying with me" Nick replied as he turned around and smiled at her.
"Your so irresistable" Jennifer said. She smiled back and ran to him and threw her arms around him. With that he picked her up and set her on the bed. HE kissed her. "Watch that hand Mr. Carter" Jennifer teased.
"What hand?" he said, trying to look innocent as he began to tickle her.
"Ah, that tickles she screamed. "My turn" she said as she started tickling him back.
"Stop" he laughed
"Never" she teased. When their game came to an end Jennifer left to get ready in her room. When she opened Nicks door she ran right into Amanda.
"Watch where your going" she screamed
"Sorry" Jennifer said apologetically.
"Well I see Nick screwed you over too" she said referring to Jennifer who still had in Nicks oversized t-shirt.
"He didnt, not that its any of your business" Jennifer remarked as she walked away
At breakfast
"Jennifer, what the hell happened last night?" James demanded.
"Nothing, I'm ok" she said, not wanting to talk about it
"Ok, but lets not let this get out" he said seriously
"Ok"
"Alright, your ok for the show tonight right?
"Yeah of course"
"Ok, next order of business" James announced
"Whats going on with you and Nick?" James questioned
This caught Jennifer offguard. "Nothing, I mean, we're just, I dont know, dating I guess" she stuttered.
"Be careful, you'll lose a lot of potential fans by dating him. I'm not telling you not to, but I'm telling you what could possibly happen, ok?"
"Alright, thanks James"
"Now, I'll meet you and the girls at 3:30pm in the lobby" he said as he left.
Jennifer left to go back to her room and relax since Nick had promotional things to do.
Everyone was hanging out in Jennifer and Sarahs room when she got there. They all asked what happened and after she told them abotu Chris she asked if they could change the subject.
"Sure Jen" Caitlyn said.
"So how have you guys been?" Jennifer asked
"Fine" they all lied. In truth Caitlyn was unsure of what to do about the situation with Brian, Alyssa couldnt stop thinking about AJ and Sarah had a problem no one knew about: Justin.
Justin was her ex-boyfriend. She couldnt stop thinking about him. She wished she hadnt broken up with him to tour and now she was thinking about quitting, but how could she tell anyone.
