"Brian, Brian, wake up!" Caitlyn screamed as soon as she saw the clock
"Huh, what?" he said, still half asleep
"The bus!" she yelled
"What about the bus?" he asked, rubbing his eyes
"It left!" Caitlyn said, now extremely irritated
"What do you mean it left? We're not on it and its not leaving until noon" he said
"Um, its 4pm" she replied
"WHAT?" Brian exclaimed
They quickly got dressed and ran downstairs to see a very upset James sitting in the lobby with Sarah and Alyssa.
"Where the hell have you been?" James demanded
"We were in our room" Caitlyn said
"We knocked on your door several times" James replied quickly
"We must have been sleeping and couldnt hear" she said as Brian stood there, not knowing what to say
"Well, enough, get you stuff and meet me on Jennifer's bus" James said as he left the building
"Where is everyone?" Caitlyn asked Sarah
"They left this morning on the Backstreet bus because Jenn has an interview and she cant be late" she said as she walked away
Brian and Caitlyn went to the room and gathered their luggage and prepared for the long trip
"Hi Jennifer" James said as he called her cell phone to tell them that they were on the way
"Hey, is everything ok?" Jennifer immediately asked
"Yeah, they were asleep and couldnt hear I guess" James said
"Ok, well I can barely hear you, so I'll talk to you later" Jennifer said as the phone cut out
"Everything is ok, they were just sleeping" she announced to the bus
"Oh good" Kevin said, smiling for the first time since they left
"Now can we get some dinner" Nick asked impatiently
"Is that all you think about Nick, food?" Jennifer teased
"No, I think about you" Nick replied coyly
"Awww" the rest of the guys said in unison
"Your just jealous" Nick snapped back, as he smiled at Jennifer
Later that night...
"Well, I'm gonna go to bed" Jennifer said as soon as the movie they were watching in the entertainment room was over.
"Me too" Nick said as he followed her like a lost puppy dog out of the room
"Good Night" they all called back
Jennifer crawled into her bunk and began to try and get situated
"Jenn" Nick whispered from the bunk above her
"Yeah" she whispered quietly back to him
"Come up here with me"
"These bunks are small enough Nick"
"Please" he said, now sticking his face into her bunk
"Fine fine, you win Nick" she said. Something about the way he looked at her made her forget about everything in the world. One of these days she thought to herself, those eyes are going to get me in trouble. She climbed into his bunk as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead.
"Good night sweetie" he said as she closed her eyes
"Night Nicky" she said as they drifted off to sleep
The Next Morning...
Jennifer woke up the next morning before anyone else. It took her a moment to realize where she was. She looked over at Nick. He looks so peaceful and innocent when hes sleeping she thought to herself. Well, I better get up she decided as she kissed Nick's cheek and slipped out of his arms and into the kitchen where she was surprised to see AJ sitting
"Good morning" he greeted her with a smile
"Good morning" she said back, "Sleep well?" she asked
"Probably not as well as you" he said laughing
"Doubt it, those bunks are way too small for 2 people" she laughed
"Ready for your first big interview with Rolling Stone today?" he asked
"I sure hope so" she said, as she just began to realize that she was kind of nervous
"We should be arriving in about an hour" the bus driver called from the front seat
"Ok, thanks Jim" AJ said back to him
"Oh, James called me last night after you went to bed and he said to tell you that the bus would drop you right off at the Rolling Stone building, so be ready, and not to worry much about clothes or hair because they would take care of it" AJ told her
"Oh, ok thanks AJ" she said
"No problem babe" he said, "Well we better go wake everyone up so they can pack up and get ready" AJ added
"Ok, all go get Nick" she said
"Ok, and I got Kevin and Howie" AJ replied
"Nick, wake up sweetie" she whispered in his ears
"Huh" he said. As soon as he saw her face he smiled. "Good morning"
"Good morning" she replied, "You better get ready, we'll be there in an hour"
"Oh ok" he said as he began stretching and trying to wake up
Everyone got ready to go and Jennifer prepared herself mentally and physically for her first really big interview.
"Do you want me to go with you for support?" Nick asked her as she continued to try search through her clothes for the shirt she wanted to wear.
"No, its ok, you have alot to do, but thanks" she said
"Is this the shirt you are looking for?" Nick asked as he held up a black mid-drift baring shirt that had black beads hanging from the bottom.
"Yeah, thats it" she said, thanking him
"No problem, but you better hurry" he said as they approached the building
Jennifer quickly changed and ran to the front of the bus. The guys all wished her good luck and Nick kissed her as she got off the bus and went inside where James was waiting.
"Hey" he said
"Hey"
"Jenn, let me warn you about a few things before you get up there. First of all, they decided to have this interview conducted by Justin Timberlake of NSync, kind of like old pop star meets new pop star. Anyways, so he'll be interviewing you and then you guys will do a photo shoot together. Now listen to me, Rolling Stone has a history of sexy photo shoots and I wouldnt be surprised if they do one with you and Justin. But dont worry, it wont ruin your image. You have a meeting with Teen People tomorrow and they will basically introduce you to the world, then the Rolling Stone will come out. It all for the better. Now ready?" he said to her as she listened intently.
"I guess"
"Ok, follow me" he said as the entered the elevator When they got off Jennifer was greeted by a friendly young woman who introduced herself as Amy Stevens, one of the editors of the magazine.
"Hi, I'm Jennifer" she said with a smile
"Well, I got her from here James" Amy said to him as he said good bye and wished Jennifer good luck
"The first thing we'll do is get you in an outfit. We picked out a few that you might like. Then off to make up and hair, then we'll take some pictures and then do the interview. Sound good?" she said to Jennifer
"Yeah sounds great"
"Great"
Jennifer was guided to the wardrobe room where she picked out a silver colored tube top and shiny black pants for the photo shoot. After make up and hair she was taken to the studio where the photos would be taken
"Hi, I'm Mark, I'll be your photographer" he said introducing himself to Jennifer."Ready?"
"I hope so" she said laughing
After taking several individual shots Mark yelled to Amy. "Where's Justin? I need to finish these photo's soon"
"He's getting dressed now, 5 minutes" she called back
"Ok fine" he said
They took a few more individual shots then Mark turned around and led Justin to where Jennifer was standing. "Jennifer, this is Justin, Justin meet Jennifer" he said walking back to the camera.
"Mark, get over here" someone yelled from the back of the giant room. "Be right back, dont move" he called to them
"Pleasure to meet you" he said with a smile that sent shivers up Jennifer's spine.
"You too" she said. Damn, he's hotter in person than in any of the NSync videos she had ever seen she said to herself
"So, hows the tour with Backstreet going?" he asked, trying to make conversation.
"Great, how about your tour?" she asked him
"Pretty good, but it would be better if you were our opening act" he said, smiling at her again
"Aww, arent you charming" she said as she found herself flirting with him and he was definately flirting back
"I try" he said as he looked in her eyes. Not bad he thought to himself.
"Ok, enough, lets get down to business" Mark said as he interrupted them
"Justin, sit on the leather chair and Jennifer, sit on his lap" he said
Justin smiled at her as she sat on his lap. He put his arms around her waste and suddenly she felt uncomrtable. Although she definately thought Justin was cute and charming, she was involved with Nick. Its just a photo shoot and he's just doing what the photographer told him to do she told herself. Your overreacting she promised herself.
"Ok good" Mark said after he snapped a few in that pose. "Now I want something more sexy. Heres the plan for the next few shots. See that prop over there" he said pointing to a large porceline bath tub. "I want to do the shoot with that, you see, I have an image to live up to here and everyone likes to see you pop stars in very sexy poses, like Britney Spears or the humerous Backstreet Boy shot with their pants down. So lets get started. Justin, first we'll put you in the bath tub and Jennifer, I want you to sit on the side of the tub and run your finger in the imaginary water, got it?"
"I think" she replied as Justin took off his shirt and got in the tub. The tub was then filled with something that gave the appearance of bubbles in a bathtub. After Jennifer went to the wardrobe room and slipped a towel around her that was fastened closed with a pin, she took her seat on the edge of the tub. She put her hand in the bubbles and looked at Mark for approval.
"Lower" was all he said
"Huh?"
"Put your hand thats in the water lower"
"Um, ok" she said as she moved her hand until it was positioned over Justins lower stomach. Justin smiled at her as she gave a sexy smile to the camera
"Perfect" Mark said as he snapped pictures They proceeded as Jennifer positioned herself over the tub and leaned towards Justin, her lips inches away from his. After several shots Jennifer got in the tub and Justin posed around it. In one shot Justin went to the side of the tub where her head was and kissed her neck as Mark snapped away. "Ok ladies and gentleman, that was great, thank you" he said as he said good bye to them.
Jennifer and Justin headed towards the dressing room and changed back into their own clothes. It was now time for the interview...
