Charitie and I have been friends since I started high school back in 1997. Of course, we haven't always been friends. As a matter of fact, Charitie hated me. And I mean HATED me. I thought she was simply too reclusive to be anyone interesting. I mean, the only time I saw her was at volleyball practice and then she was always with her friend, Elizabeth. I thought those two were the kind of people who didn't include anyone outside of their little circle. And I also thought they were shy little church girls, until I overheard them. They could have made an experienced sailor blush. I mean, I thought I was great at coming up with creative oaths, but Chair had me beat hands down. I was shocked beyond belief! Somehow we started talking and found out we complemented each other very nicely, and we have a whole lot in common. Like our bizarre interest in Placebo and classic torture techniques. She's quiet, whereas I'm not. She's logical, I'm not. I'm frank, she's not. It works out for the best. --jackie It wasn't so much that I hated her, it was just that she annoyed the living hell out of me. Imagine meeting someone for the first time and in the first 5 minutes she tells the same story 12 times. I'm not sure why she did, I guess just to make sure that those who missed her babbling the first time got to hear too. Lord only knows. But then I guess we discovered we had much in common and here we are now. For the good or for the bad only time and Placebo will be able to tell.
