That Lolly Shot...
Ohhh...that infamously seductive lolly. There is just something about the way he is holding that sucker in his mouth and the way he is standing that just gets the blood to boiling. |
Brian and our Bowie...
Here are the two loves of our lives: Brian Molko and David Bowie. They are leaning against each other in the midst of a "Velvet Goldmine" song that they performed at the BritAwards this year. "20th-Century Boy" never sounded as good as when these two amazing voices got together. LOL...I remember the night we saw it. We were simply flipping through the channels and we came across the BBC. There was nothing else on, so we decided to watch the rest of the Awards even though it was half way over with. We lounged on my couch watching as Robbie Williams won several awards. A commercial came on, and Chair and I went to get something to drink. We walked back into the living room, walking behind the couch so as not to block my sister's view, when Boy George stole the microphone and said: "David Bowie is coming! David Bowie is coming!" |
Jackie's Favourite...
This has to be one of my favourite pictures of Brian. He is sitting there looking as sweet as any prince with his arm draped around Stefan's neck. I swear, those two together is a sight to behold. Stefan is wearing a look of being well-loved, and Brian looks completely pleased with himself and his position. He's sitting on Stefan's lap, and Stefan has his arm wrapped around his waist, holding him close, even though you can't see it...sorry. Since Charitie is away at college and she only comes home every other weekend, we talk to each other online and we visit websites together. (A precaution to others who may try that, it's extremely hard and confusing, so be prepared to receive a headache for your troubles.) When we saw this picture, I went ballistic. I shouted at her and forced her to quit drooling at her picture to look at mine. It took her a minute to get there, but when she did, she knew why I was so insistant that she come see. She's glad now that I made her leave, but I put her favourite first, just so there was no hard feelings.
