This will be the final entry in the Corrior news section. I would like to give my greatest thanks to everyone who came out to see our final performance at Bumstock yesterday. Althought the day was filled with fun times and good music, I felt as if after we played, a part of me left forever.
Over the last three years, Corridor has become an intricate part of all of our lives. The memories will never be forgotten, and neither will all the members.
Joe - Remember the good old times at the Zone(1st and 2nd show) and how you almost got us kicked out of Ames.
Adam - Although you were only with us for a short time, it was fun.
Ben - Me, You and Eric, that's where it all began, I can never forget the vampire fish, Pontious Pilate, and of cours the early stages of corridor with you. "Hey Bobby!"(Inside thing)
Tom - I know you still have hard feelings against us, but hey, Corridor wouldn't have been corridor without you. We played almost 40 shows in the year and a 1/2 you were with us. None of us will ever forget the "Darkside of the Moon." Good luck with everything in the future.
Heath - we're gonna miss you man, but you did what you had to do. Good luck with Self Impediment, we should hook something up in the future. Who knows, maybe we'll be sharing the stage next year at Bumstock. Thanks for aiding us in our time of need. we'll neverforget you. We'll never forget any of you.
We could never been half of what we were today if it wasn't for our dedicated fans(who, from emails I have recieved are quite angry with us at the moment). They came out to evert show possible, here are some of our most dedicated fans that we'd like to thank(sorry if I miss anyone): John French(john, is our roadie and one of our best friends, thank you for everything John, and i want to let you knoiw that your are just as much a part of corridor as any of its members were). Chris dupont, thanks for the page and being such a big fan(sorry i had to make an official page). Kelly, Aimee, Sarah, and Sam, the four of you made it to almost as many shows as we did. Don't worry this isn't the end of everything. Tweez, Chino, Toshi, Joey, Vicki, Hannah, Chango, meghan, Brooke and the rest of the gray crew...thanks for the support at all of the Lisa's Lounge shows, we'll never forget you. Mike Stover, sara Anarchy, Ariel, Bridget, Tiffany, Missa,Karl and everyone up North, thanks for making our long hauls worth it. I would also like to thank EVERYONE who has been to a corridor show. If I forgot to name you by name, I'm sorry...I have a short memory.
Last but Not least, I would like to thank the local bands and companies in the scene for everything. Brenda Smith, Thanks for the support and I'm sure you'll be hearing about the new project we're starting. Gary and Tone Zone, Thanks man. P.S. Be looking for a new band w/ Corey, Eric, Chris and others to be hitting the scene this fall.
I'm regretful to inform everyone that this Saturday's appearance at Bumstock will be Corridor's Final show. we'll miss you all
The show at belfast was great. We'd like to give our special thanx to all the fans and bands who came out...but an extra special thanx to Ariel Sprague for doing the advertisement.
Due to a large misunderstanding between the senior class(was for whom the benefit was for) and the Naples Grange Hall, Corridor was not able to perform(due to lack of time). We would like to apologize to all of our fans who came out to support us. On a lighter note, Corridor is now back in the studio working on their forthcoming cd. Eric relayed his guitar tracks for crime and elite last friday, and Heath will be in next week. On May 6th, Corridor will lay down drum tracks for 4 more songs.
All of the people who showed up at the Windham High School talent show ruled. Thanx for making the show a blast(even though it was only 2 songs)!! I'm sure it made Eric's bithday even better beacuse of you all. We debuted "No Emotion", and proved "Brother of Mine" is still rippin it up.
Ok, due to some circumstances beyond our control, corridor was unable to play last fridays show at the teen center. Even though we didn't play, everyone who showed up still caught a killer show cause the outher bands rocked. Today I added thumbnails in the photos section from the USM show. There are also several new links on the links page worth checkin out. Check out corridor's next show friday april 14th at the Naples Grange Hall.
Thank you to everyone for making the Biddeford City Theater benefit show a success. By night's end, we raised $1,000 for the cause. As for the website, there is now a full page of thumbnails from various live shows. there is also a video for plexi/way back when under the sounds page that was recorded at John Bapst High School in Bangor, ME. Finally, I will be adding more audio to the web page; however, I have recently been having some uploading problems, so please be patient.
Corridor is now finishing up there 5 song demo. Soon it will be sent out to local area record stations, so get ready to request us. Also, a new pictures section will be up in the next 2 weeks.
This was a great weekend for corridor. First of all, we would like to thank elapse for putting us onto the Auburn Middle School show, You guys rule! The show Saturday night at St. Joe's was incredible. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the show rule as much as it did. You were all one of the best crowds we've ever had. We'd also like to give props to Twitchboy and ransom for playing some damn tight sets. Last, but not least, we'd like to thank Frankie Ratt and Iron Will Matson on WSJB's "Monkey Business", for having us for an interview on air. Please call them and request either "Way Back When", or "Speak". Corridor's next show is on March 17th in Auburn, please check it out.
First of all, the show scheduled for the USM campus center has been officially moved to April 1st due to double bookings on the parts of several of the other bands. Anyone interested in attending the St. Joe's Show this Saturday who IS NOT a St. Joe's Student, please email me asap and I'll put you on the guest list.
Ok here's the deal. Corridor has a bunch of shows coming up with such bands as ransom, colepitz, 6gig, elapse, and others. Check out the shows page for more info.
Bad news all. The show for this friday at the YMCA Teen center w/ Elapse and Evolution was postponed to March 18th, please come check it out then.
Thank you to everyone who went to the John Bapst High School show. If you listened to the interview on WMEB 91.9, you were able to hear the 2 newest corridor demo tracks. Be sure to check the shows page for the newest updates.
Ok, well a lot has happened in the last week. Corridor has finished the first 2(of 6) songs from their new demo entitled "Alone in the Dark". These tracks were recorded at Heath Emery's home studio and sound much better than those on previous demos. You can hear the debut of "Way Back When" and "Speak"(the newly recorded versions) Saturday February 5th at 6pm along with an on air interview on WMEB 91.9. After the interview, catch Corridor at John Bapst High School(go the shows page for more info). The recording of out of the darkness will resume real soon as well.
The show scheduled for tonight was postponed due to the bad storm conditions. The new date will be February 5th at John Bapst High School at 6:30 pm. The line-up will remain the same.
Corridor was invited to play a benefit show in Biddeford with David's Playground as a fundraiser to restore the local city theater. Corridor also began work on a new demo with new guitarist Heath Emery. The tracks included will be: Way Back When, Crime, God Knows, U Confuse Me, and a new track(yet to be named). The recording quality of this project far exceeded the previous release. In other recording news, corridor will resume their studio project, but at a new location. The band is keeping some of the original songs from Tone Zone, but will continue recording new material at Big Sound Studios.
I would like to inform everyone of the new additions to the site. We have recently added a picture section with both band and fan pictures and a discography section.
Corridor played their second show with new guitarist Heath last Saturday at Penquis Valley High School in Milo. There was an extremely large turn out, and the band played a decent set witch featured several Life of agony covers and many originals. Chris Dupont again joined the band on the final song "bliss" aiding in vocals.
Due to a change in Policy which forbids bands to perform at the Naples Town Hall, the show for the 7th has been cancelled. This is a serious crock of s@#t since we already signed the place out, and paid for it. Hopefully, we can book a different location in the future to hold this show at, but for now, we are venueless.
Well, last nights shows were sure to be well rembered by all of us. First of the night was bluntfest. They guys went up with such great bands as barium, Jeremiah Freed, and Treble Under Foot. The band also unveiled a new addition to their band on guitar, Heath Emery. There four song set ended with the LOA cover of Other Side of the River with Heath on vocals. The next show was held at hot shots. It was put on by the Fermata club, and featured one of our favorite local bands, Cradle 2 Grave. During Bliss, Chris Dupont took stage and unleashed a fury ending on vocals along with Corey and Eric.
Sorry to all for the delay in the update of this page. I had experienced internet troubles. Anyways, the next two weeks are gonna be busy for Corridor. This Friday(New Years Eve) Corridor will be appearing at Bluntfest 99 in Baxter Auditorium. They go on at 4pm. And don't forget, the following weekend is gonna be loaded with shows, including one w/ Colepitz, and 2 with Shoot the Dancing bear(from Springfield Mass.) Check out the shows page for more info.
Due to a rescheduling of a basketball game, the Show with Corridor, Geek and Chapiza in Milo, ME has been postponed. The new date will be posted as soon as possible. We're hoping the new date will be the next night, but as of now, all is uncertain.
I would like to thank all of you who attended the show at the fermata club this past Saturday with Overfiend and GMPN. It was a great time for all. They were great bands. Corridor decided to play they set just a tad bit differently, by having Eric just sing(actually it was a long story, but hey sh*t happens). Hopefully we will be able to have another show with all 3 bands again in the future.
Corridor has secured their place in the 16th Annual Reindeer Rock-Offs. The date is still unconfirmed, but will be posted asap. Also, this week marks the first week in corridor's new rehersal space at Prime Artists.
Today Corridor recieved an invite to a show in Milo Maine. The band will head up North on January 7th to play with Chapiza and Geek. See the Upcoming shows page for more info.
Corridor is well on their way into their new CD, "Out of the Darkness". The first 8 tracks are now recorded, and need to be mixed. Another 4 tracks will be added, giving you a 12 track cd. This should hopefully be available by March of 2000.
