Frank was
born in Richmond Virginia. At age 3, he showed an interest in music so,
his parents bought him a toy organ. Frank grew up listening to all styles
of music and has a respect for all styles. He studied classical piano
for 7 years, and played the Alto/Tenor Saxophones in the school band.
At age 12, his parents bought him a bass guitar. He began jamming with
songs over the radio and playing with the neighborhood band. Frank developed
his Piano skills by playing in church. Frank put the bass down to concentrate
on keyboards and then picked it up again, 7 years later. After hearing
great bass players such as Marcus Miller, Jaco Pastorios, John Patitucci,
and Victor Wooten, Frank was inspired to develop on the bass. Today, Frank
has been writing, producing, and doing recording sessions as a bassist
and/or keyboardist. Frank has a very busy schedule. He holds the position
as Director of Music at a local church, the house bassist for Swift Creek
Theatre, Musical Director for the CapTones Band (which gigs regularly),
arranges/produces demos for other artists. |
