Rock club listings
This is something new I'm trying. It's hopefully going to be international before too long. But for right now it's just clubs that I know that kick ASS! If you know a club you want to see listed, send me the URL and I'll post a link.
YO! Read 'da bannah 'den GO 'he-ah!
Paul took his solo tour through here. (I missed it! I heard about it too late to get tickets!) Many major bands play here under different names when they're between shows at arenas like Madison Square Garden, The Continental Airlines Arena, and the Nassau Veterans Memorial Collisseum.
Ahh... The Stone Pony. On the boardwalk. Or- as we here in "Joisey" call it, "The Pony". Just about EVERY body has played in here when they started out. Bon Jovi did, that short-haired guy who sings about 'Jersey in most of his songs.... Bruce Spr.., oh you know his name! You name an artist and they've probably played here at some point in their career!
This place is about 5 minutes from my house! My former band played here. Ace played here. So did Peter ! I was lucky enough to see both when they stopped by!
The OTHER place to play when you're in the tri-state area! I've never set foot into CBGB's. I'd love to, though! (I hear this place can get kinda rowdy!)
