Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely video review

Hell-o! Thanx for stopping by! This is where I say a bunch of meaningless words on what I think about the Backstreet's vid of their 3rd single from Millennium:) Keep on reading! (even if you have/haven't seen the vid)Thanx for your time....

At the beginning of the vid till the last minute, the Boys are all by themselves in different enviroments...

In the first few seconds, an ambulance comes by, stops, medics pull out a patient on a stretcher (no, it's not Nick suffering from brain damage after being clawed by millions of fans when he accidentally fell off-stage at a show in Germany...)and yeah, we get the clue, it's a hospital, then the camera takes us up and we can see a guy on the hospital bed as doctors and good-looking teenage-model nurses wearing their tight uniforms come rushing in... it's BRIAN looking in thru the window... woo hoo!

But wait,...(after Bri finishes his part) the guy on the bed's lifeline goes straight as hell ... *teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet* _________________________ (uh oh)And then we came to have a closer look into the patient's nostrils.. woah! It's BRIAN!!!!aaaararrrrgaagh!

So full of meaning, aint it?

Then AJ comes along forlornly looking out a moving bus, (doesn't his hand look so puppet-like here?!?)...a single tear rolls down.. he holds up a pic of a girl, looks up, there she is!! She walks pass, he turns back, she disfigures and turns into a wobbly form of clear Jell-o!Nah,.. j/k.. it's just a figment of his imagination... What's that all about?!? But then, later in the song, he gets off the bus at DENNIZ ST which is SO touching, such a great idea!! (If you didn't know, Denniz Pop wrote songs for the BSBs before he passed away in 98,duh)And I loved the way he put on his cowboy hat to the beat of the song, that's way cool!!

And then, this is the part of the song I cried at the first time I saw the vid....

There... we focus in to this dark lonely room from the balcony (hehe) and we see Kev sitting down watching an old film-projected "vid" of a father & son hanging out together and he just sings the song staring at the screen then he gets up (in between it's Nick singing) and then he stands at the window and I cried the time he sang "there's no control, are you with me now?" and he looks up into the heavens... *sigh* that's SO freakin sad!!!!! *grabs a tissue* It's just SO meaningful, the most touching scene, I think, in this whole video!

Moving on... Nick's walking down the street,, ever so cute and all the smoke is coming from his side and he gets overly emotional as always and then he sings.. and by this time, all the scenes of him,Brian,Kev and Aj are all mixed... Then, there's this girl who's about to get run down by a bus that's going pretty freaking fast and he just HAD to pull her to safety ( I say just leave her there, but nuh uh!) and they stare at each other very closely (HEY HANDS OFF!!) AAAAND CUT! that's all from Nick! (move along, girl)

I don't actually GET what his LONELINESS scene is about.. someone drop me a line and give me a clue, ok?

AAAND now, the ever so sweet Howie "I've-Always-Got-A-Whole-4-Seconds-in-Videos" D sitting in a bar drinking something from a teacup (take a wild guess) and he worriedly sings his part and a girl in a red dress comes running to him like a crazed hooligan and then she turns to mush like AJ's girl earlier.. hmm,..

Then they sing some more and then Kev comes outta his apartment and walks into the Cafe (which is damn cool by the way) and nods to Howie and Howie grabs his coat and puts it on and the walk out onto the streets at the same time AJ,Brian and Nick are all walking in the same direction... then the walk walk and then they stop and sing while Nick wails away, and walk walk again and walk through 2 buildings and walk off into the purple/blue sky.....

THE END:)

Well, I think people who aren't big BSB fans wouldn't get this deep and meaningful video, especially the part bout Brian in the hospital,Kev and the film and AJ dropping off on Denniz Street... but us fans do, right?!?

At first, when it finished, I thought "THAT'S IT?!?" I was expecting the buildings to burst into flames or something (I've been watching too much stunts in Larger than Life,i guess)...

I also thought the first time I saw it, "Maybe they just didnt have any money left over from the rumoured 3million smackeroonies for LTL... heheh:) but then I watched it over and over again and I think this one is WAAY more grown-up and meaningful and is mostly a treat to BSB fans..... All in all, one heck of a music video... ain't it?
