Every woman should have one, I've always been told. This little black dress
is a vintage item--early fifties would be my guess. It would have been nice to have somebody to
assist with the zipper in back. After all manner of contortions, though, during which I even had
moments of gratitude for my long arms, I managed to get myself fully enclosed, and then
the dress felt wonderful, feminine in a special, old-fashioned way.
