DING DONG!
"I got it!!" BJ came running down the stairs and threw the door open. Her jaw hit the floor when she saw who it was:
"Nick?!" Nick slightly smiled:
"Hi Beej." She threw herself into his arms:
"Ohmigod! I can't believe you're here." She pulled away:
"Mom!!! Come here quick!" Jane walked in carrying Aaron:
"Who's at the door, Beej…Oh my-" Nick looked quizzically at his mother carrying a little baby. Jane immediately started crying and hugged her son:
"Nick! Honey, I've missed you so much." Nick began to tear up too. He looked down at the baby in his mother's arms:
"Who's this little guy?" Jane and BJ glanced at each other quickly. Jane cleared her throat:
"Uh..this is one of the neighbor's sons. I'm watching him for the afternoon." Nick smiled and reached for him:
"Can I?" Jane nervously handed him over:
"Be careful, honey." Nick held him:
"What's his name?" Jane swallowed nervously:
"Aaron." Nick looked up surprised:
"Really? That's cool." They all walked into the kitchen and sat down. Jane called Leslie and Angel down to come see their brother and then she called Bob at work to tell him. Nick told them everything he had told Brian, the whole time with his son in his arms. Jane wanted to cry at the sight but she knew that she couldn't say anything without Katelin there. After awhile, Aaron's eyes began to droop. Jane took him from Nick:
"I'm going to put him down for a nap. I'll be right back." She disappeared from the room as soon as the phone rang.

I gathered my stuff together and walked out of my office:
"See ya tomorrow, Em!" My assistant waved to me:
"Bye, Kate!" I walked out of Jive and made my way to my car. I got in and began the hour long drive from Orlando to Tampa.
Forty five minutes later, I spotted my exit. I drove down the ramp and saw that the light at the end of it was green. I never even saw the other car run the red light.

Nick picked up the ringing phone since he was closest to it:
"Hello?"
"Is there a Jane Carter there?"
"She's busy right now. This is her son. Can I help you?"
"Yes. This is Nurse Spencer down at Tampa General. A Katelin Marciano was brought in here. She was in a bad car accident and this phone number was in her wallet in case of an emergency. Can you please have someone come down here as soon as possible?" Nick nearly dropped the phone:
"We'll be right there. Thank you." His hands were shaking as he hung up the phone:
"Mom!" BJ looked up at her brother:
"What's going on, Nick?" He looked down at her with tears in his eyes:
"It's Katelin…she…she was in a car accident…" BJ's eyes widened:
"Is she okay?" Jane came walking in the room:
"What's going on?" Leslie told her:
"Katelin was in a car accident." Jane's hands flew to her mouth:
"Oh my god. We have to get down there. Is she at Tampa?" Nick nodded. Jane grabbed his hand:
"Come on. BJ, stay here and watch Aaron for me." BJ nodded:
"I will. Call us as soon as you hear anything."
