"Jack. Jack. Jacqueline wake up. Jacqueline!" I grabbed my pillow and put it over my head. "Max!" Joey yelled. Max ran up the stairs, and walked up to Joey. "Wake her up boy." Max jumped on Jacqueline's bed and laid right on top of her. Joey then turned on the light in Jacqueline's room. When Joey, Jacqueline and their dad got home, instead of changing into new clothes, Jacqueline changed into her pj's and went straight to bed. Her head did hurt a little. Joey walked over and sat on the bed. "Come on get up. Jason just called from Ray's and they ordered pizza. Dad already went out to dinner with Uncle Matt and Aunt Jenn. Get up. I'm hungry." I slowly lifted the pillow off of my head, and tried to sit up.

"Oh Max, get up baby." Max moved off my legs, and jumped off of my bed. "Give me ten minutes." I said.

"Cool. Come on Max." Joey and Max then left my room. I got out of bed, and walked over to my closet. I pulled out a pair of jeans, then walked over to my dresser drawer, and pulled out a red T-shirt. I brushed my curly hair, that was blown out straight, and put some make-up on. I grabbed my jacket and ran downstairs.

"Joey I'm ready!" Joey and Max came walking out of the kitchen.

"I just fed him, so when we get home either you or Jason have to walk him." "All right, let's go." Joey and I went outside to the Beamer that we shared. "Can I drive?" I asked.

"Do I look like I have a death wish?" Joey hopped in the drivers seat and drove us to Nicole's. We pulled up to Nicole's house about five minutes later, got out of the car, and rang the door bell. Nicole answered the door.

"Oh my God Jack, are you ok? I was so worried about you. You could've called me! I was just going to call you but Ray had..." Just then Ray came to the door. "Nicole would let them in already." Ray moved aside to let us in. "The pizza's in the living room with Jason." We all walked into the living room to find Jason on the floor, eating a slice of pizza.

"Well, Sleeping Beauty finally woke up."

"Ha! Ha! Very funny." I sat down and grabbed a slice of pizza.

"How are you feeling? Dad said you had a headache."

"I'm all right. Where's Meg? I thought she was eating with us."

"Oh, I'm picking her up from work later."

"Ooooooo." Joey, me, and Nicole teased. Jason picked up a pillow and threw it at us.

"Yo Jason, did you see Chris today? He was being such an asshole to Meg...never mind." Ray started to say but quickly covered up. Nicole and I looked at each other.

"Oh shit." I thought to myself. You could see how mad Jason was getting. He had put down his pizza, and his fists were clenched.

"Who was Chris being an asshole to?" Jason asked, obviously angry.

"Um...Jay don't worry about it. Chris is always being an asshole. that's just the way he is. You know that." Poor Ray. He knew Jason had a bad temper, and he was trying so hard to cover up, but it was not working.

"Ray, who?" Jason said with clenched teeth.

"Meg." Ray said as quietly as possible.

"What?!" Jason jumped up and knocked over a can of coke.

"Jason!" Nicole yelled. We all jumped up and Nicole picked up the can of soda. "Oh Mom's gonna kill us!" Nicole whined.

"I'm going to fucking kill him." Jason grabbed his jacket and keys and headed out to his car. We all went out after him, and followed him to his car.

"Come on Jay, don't do this. Just forget about it." I said. Jason looked at me. "Stay here!" Jason jumped in his car. Ray and Joey quickly got in with him, just before he pulled away. As soon as they were in Jason sped out of the driveway. "Damn it!" I yelled.

"Calm down." Nicole said, soothingly.

"Calm down?! Nicole our brothers just went off to get themselves killed! How can you be calm?!" At this point I was panicking. Nicole grabbed my shoulders. "Jacqueline Christina Catalano! You will calm down, and pull yourself together! Now listen, I'm gonna take your car and go warn Meg, so that way she'll know how to handle Jason when she see's him. You go inside and clean up, all right?" "Fine."

"Jacqueline."

"All right!" I handed her my keys, and watched Nicole pull away from the house. I sighed and stood outside for a little while. A cool breeze blew threw the trees, and I rubbed my arms to keep me warm. It was then, that I decided to go back inside. I walked in the living room and picked up the pizza box that was on the floor. I brought it in the kitchen, and wrapped up the uneaten pizza. After putting the pizza in the refrigerator, I wet some paper towels and went to clean up the soda that had spilled on the carpet. After I was done, I put the empty soda cans, the paper plates, dirty napkins, and the empty pizza box in a black garbage bag. I walked outside and brought the garbage to the side of the house, to the rest of the garbage cans. The side of the house was pitch black. I heard someone from next door come to the side of the house and throw away their garbage. As I was looking for the garbage can a cat jumped right on the top of the fence, scaring the shit out of me.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

The person next door turned around. The cat jumped on the other side of the fence causing the neighbor to jump back.

"Holy shit!" The guy screamed. I could tell it was a guy by his voice. I heard garbage cans crash to the ground.

"Meowwwwww!" I jumped back against the side of the house. A few more garbage cans fell, and then it was silent. The motion light on the neighbor's side of the house, then went on.

"Well, now it works!" The neighbor said. He was getting up off the ground, and brushing off his pants. He must've fell when the cat scared us both. He then looked at me. "Are you ok?"

"Yes I'm fine thank..." I then looked into the guy's eyes. I knew those eyes. Those deep brown eyes. "I know you." I finally said. "You fell on top of me today." The guy laughed.

"Oh really?"

"Yes, in the parking lot." The guy's expression changed.

"You're the girl who almost got hit by the car. Are you ok? I got worried after you fainted. I thought I had made you hit your head or something."

"Oh no it wasn't you! I just got dizzy from all the people and everything. Thank you by the way. I...um...never got the chance to thank you." The guy smiled at me, and offered his hand across the fence.

"I'm AJ."

"Jacqueline."
