astroboy nemesite (c90 from ennui tapes)
i was putting off listening to this, cos i wasn't sure if i was in an astroboy 'mood,' but once i finally put it in i realized how silly that was, cos you don't really have to be in a certain mood to listen to this. its not generic or easy listening by any stretch, it just has an appeal, and is an entertaining listen. i'm not going to go into a song-by-song description though, cos at the moment i think thats a bit tiresome. a bit more beat driven than other stuff of his that i've heard, and cheesier in parts ['pace 9,' with the sampled voices? yes], but still with plenty of weird/ethereal astroboy goodness,  plus bonus atari noise.
