math (cdr from ROG)
well i got another package from Rainbow of Goodness today [i don't know about you, but getting cool crap in the mail always makes my day] filled with many goodies, including this 'math' cd, which is slightly different from the normal version cos mine includes a bonus track made from samples of my tape album [yay!]. some parts of this sound exactly like they were lifted from old video/computer game soundtracks [track 7 would be perfect music for the boss at the end of a mega man game, it even has the happy part in the middle where you think you destroyed the boss, but then he comes back, only stronger] except not annoying like real video game music gets [especially after listening to the same 1:21 loop over and over while you're getting killed by some ninja or robot or whatever, until you want to kick in the tv in, WHY WON'T THAT STUPID NINJA DIE??? THIS MUSIC IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!! AAHH!! ...yeah, not like that]. as to the track made using D-503 samples, basically he just took the sounds and made them his own, the video game take on my stuff [not exactly, though, its kind of hard to describe]. i would recommend him as a remixer.
