nuclear pig shit/macronympha a fit of lust (3" cdrX2 from hospital productions)
this release features nuclear pig shit remixing material by macronympha, an artist i really only know by reputation, so i can really only take this release on it's own merits as i hear them. i mainly got this because i'm a nuclear pig shit fan. anyway, this release does not disappoint, although i didn't like it as much the first time i listened to it. the sound is mostly harsh, naturally, with interesting stereo shifts and seperations, with dim almost imperceptible sounds buried in amongst the feedback and distortion; dirty frenzied metal percussion, voices and other sounds i may only be imagining. great packaging as well, comes in a folded x-ray sleeve with black ink on x-ray square inserts, with it's own lipstick no less. a good release even without the interesting packaging.
