distorted rambling (self released c60) this sounds like just the product of one or two afternoons of messing around on bass guitar, very lo-fi recording quality and no artwork to the cassette, but there are still interesting things happening,. the first track (of two), 'bass guitar noise in c major', is mostly delayed string banging and low low feedback tones. it felt pretty short although i wasn't really keeping track. the second track, 'ode to a whirpool' sprawls over the rest of the first side and part of the second and consists mostly (mostly) of feedback of all sorts; high squealing wails and low dense rumblings. this one gets a little unfocussed at times and tends to drag after a while, which is too bad because there are some cool sounds going on. editing would definitely help to make this more dynamic and engaging, but as it stands it isn't too bad anyway, especially with the first track balancing it out. so there you go.
