ubiquitous abattoir ambidextrous umbilicus produce dept. (c30 from hospital productions) this was an unexpected goodie in my package from hospital prod, apparently, if the liner notes can be trusted, sixty tracks long, crammed into thirty minutes, although this is another one that is very hard to follow as all the tracks run together without pause. apparently [that's twice i've used that word, i must think they're trying to trick me] this is a side project of the ceiling fans [who i've never heard, so i can't compare the two] and their "first study in Schizophrenic-Suicide-Death-Dance Music. S]S]D]D]M] is the process of pairing, looping and manipulating microsamples," having a prod at electronic subgenres i guess. a lot of this sounds like the description, two short samples, usually one low and one a little bit higher, paired and looped and played at various speeds. so the good bits are the parts that are different from that, drones and scraping sounds, low rumbles and computer blips. ends with what sounds like a vacuum cleaner sample. very weird and grating.
