wrdsrch svc (cdr from wrdsrch)
harsh, punishing , digitally processed feedback and noise is the name of the game once again from wrdsrch, again with seven tracks in under twenty minutes (actually under fifteen minutes this time around). the first time i listened to this, the word that kept popping into my head was 'again', as you can see. this cd tends to rely a bit too much on just an impenetrable wall of noise for my taste, and actually my favorite track off of here is 'failed hypothesis' which is built around digital timestretch stutters and has a bit more of a rythmic element to it, with the final track 'son of tubescrote' (the cd seems to have a weird troma/science fiction movie theme to it) coming in second for it's distorted high frequency wail. this release would have definitely been better with more variation, if only to show that wrdsrch has it in him. this would be a good disc to put on to get rid of someone you aren't fond of, however.
