"Vega is the brightest star in the constellation lyra....we want to be stars....its just fits."
Straight out of Detroit, Michigan, comes a group unlike any other. Signed to Freeworld Entertainment by Dallas Austin (TLC, Boyz II Men), Vega brings a creative skill to the game proving that they're not your everyday male group.
Brothers Ahsohn Williams aka A-Vega, 22, and Eugene Williams aka G-Vega, 23, we discover by a manager who was in search of a male group. So, the two men recruited thier cousin Jason Chenevert aka J-Vega, 19, and a good friend, Tennell Williams aka T-Vega, for the job. With influences like the Jacksons, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, and the entire Motown era, these guys are prepared for success.
In nineteen ninety-eight, Dallas Austin caught wind of the group and decided to sign them immediately. The quartet relocated to atlanta, ga. and by February of nineteen ninety-nine, production began on thier debut project, Life On Earth. Vega was formed.
On Tuesday, September twenty-first, Vega's premiere single, Let Me Get It, was released into music stores. On February twenty-ninth, the first album from the group will be shipped to every music store across the map. With futuristic rhyhtm and virtual voice, Life On Earth will become a huge hit. Guests include fellow labelmate JT Money, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas of the multi-platinum group TLC, and Virtual Vic-e, the futuristic "fourth" member of TLC featured on the Fanmail album.
I wish Vega the best as they journey into new land. I feel that thier success shall be great, and i pray that thier time on this planet won't be short. Good luck...
