Idle Time
Good solid early Dream Theater meets Pantera -
Vicious riffing, lots of movement, very fist-in-
the-face - surprisingly good vocal for the style -
I wonder aloud if the production value is weak or
the encoding - it sounds like a decent mix, but
faint - almost like it's played from about 30 feet
away... Strong piece, musically

Psilocybin Window
Brutal riffs, sounds like the singer is straining
to accomplish that growl - not a good thing for a
voice such as his... good way to burn it out
early... this one sounds lost - a lack of
arrangement - a great deal of wandering around
with no real direction... powerful guitarwork though
even if it is a bit self-indulgent at the end

5.5 / 10

Architect of Deception (live)
Now this one has a problem in the production end -
really badly recorded - doesn't do much in the way
of cohesion either - I will give some levity in the
simple reality of it being a live recording, but it
sounds like it was recorded on a condenser in the
back of the room... The song itself is blurry -
It doesn't really know where to take the listener
Not nearly as strong as the first track...

5.1 / 10

Overall
I'm not really sure what to make of this band - at
times brilliant in their execution, and at times
downright scattered - I would like to see a more
cohesive effort from Intertwined - I'll be waiting
for it
