House of Lords was put together by ex-Angel keyboardist Gregg Giuffria. Its members were vocalist James Christian (former Canata), guitarist Lanny Cordola (former Magdallan, Magdalen, Shout, Ken Tamplin, and Vanilla Fudge), guitarist Michael Guy played on the "Sahara" album, bassist Chuck Wright (former Quiet Riot, Ted Nugent, Giuffria and Impellitteri), and drummer Ken Mary (former Alice Cooper, Don Dokken, Ken Tamplin, Soul Shock Remedy and Impellitteri) .
