Your Opinions

Honestly, how many talented male vocalists are in the business today? I mean those under 40. Very few. By talented I don't mean somebody who strums a guitar and sings about drinking beer, or punk star who screams at the top of his lungs. What guy can carry a tune, or a single word, for at least 5 seconds without sounding a bit girly? (I'll get to Nick's voice later). Really, the Boys have beautiful, UNIQUE voices, and their harmonies are great as well.

Don't try to compare the boys with NKOTB, NSYNC, 98 Degrees, Five, LFO, or anyone else. First of all, NKOTB can NOT sing. OK, I don't mean to diss them or their fans. But I have listened to all of their records.....sorry, but I just can't stand them. Nsync...hmm, let me think. JC is the only one who seems to be able to sing. Chris and Justin sound like Nick, only they can't sing for as long as he can (did you see/hear him on homecoming singing I Need You tonight/Heaven in your eyes? WOW!!!!). I've never heard Lance or Joey sing (maybe on the Christmas album). Nick Lachey and Jeff Timmons from 98 Degrees sing pretty well (esp. Nick), and Five is good at rapping, but not with their ballads. Sorry, dudes. I love your album, though. And LFO....their nice, but too cheesy for me. How many times can you say scooby-doo or whatever it their rapping? Michael J. Fox was Alex P. Keaton? There was a good man named Paul revere? HELLO!!!

So, like I was saying those Boys can SING!!! And did I mention their moves? Yeah yeah, I know my dad says no one can touch M. Jackson, but that guy freaks me out ten times more than A.J. Or Chris. Well, maybe Chris freaks me out more. hehe ;) But, Fatima is a fantastic choreographer. Just watch them perform AIHTG, ALAYLM, GD(YTOFM) in concert. I haven't seen their new concert, but I heard it's great. I must admit, though, for the Nsyncers our there, I can get some of those pics of NSYNC out of my mind. remember their article in Teen People (not their cover story). The issue was the 1st Annual teen people fashion awards (a kinda lame issue). they had an "exclusive" interview w/Nsync. Did you see that pic of Joey flying in the air? And JC standing on his arm? Now I know most breakdancers that I know can do that, but I've never the Boys do that. Ever. Not meaning they can't, but you gotta admit that is pretty cool.

ha, and the songs. Yes, in the perfect world the Boys write all of their songs, and mix the tracks, and do their own moves. But NOBODY does that. Except maybe Mariah Carey. But the moves aren't hers, though. Anyway, back to the songs..... I've only heard one song written by NSYNC. Giddy Up. What a weird song!! The beat is cool, but what the hell (I'm assuming you are a teen, Amanda, who won't be offended :) is that supposed to mean? It sounds alright when Ginuwine did something like that with Pony, but you five sound lame!!!

Now, look at That's What She Said, Larger Than Life, The One, Back To Your Heart, and The Perfect Fan. TWSS is one of my fave bsb ballads. Well, I don't know if it's a ballad, it has sweet beat. But it qualifies, I guess. And TPF is SO SWEET!!! Now, I recall hearing Music Of My Heart for the first time. It could've been a great song, really, but then Gloria and Nsync had to sing it. Yes, I respect Gloria. She is a titan of some sort. But she likes Ricky and Nsync. What could be worse? And just when they lyrics start to sound good, then comes the next verse which is so lame. I know nsync didn't write the song, but I just wanted to point that out.

Ok, I guess I'm done with that. WAIT!!! did you catch nsync on rosie a few weeks back? HORRIBLE!!! What the heck was that quacking thing with the hands? ("bye, bye, bye" is what I think it's called). Jeez, is that all the moves they could come up with?) Oh yeah...Justin, Joey, and Chris's hair look terrible. Chris has cleaned up a bit, and Joey's isn't too bad. But too often Justin's hair looks like a messed up sponge of some sort. Keep it natural, boy!! Whoops, that term is for our Boys only, sorry. My saying of the year, and advice for the future. "Follow your instinct, and run away from NSYNC!!!!"
