Fan Of The Month- April

I fell in love with the Boys' music when I first heard Quit Playin' Games (With My Heart). But it was when I saw As Long As You Love Me that I fell for their looks. The Boys were one of the first (modern)artists I had heard, and I fell in love with them over and over again every time I heard one of their songs or saw one of their videos. I was and am a satsified victim of Backstreetphobia.

But I swear in all seriousness that the first quality I love about the Boys are their music. I have never heard a group of young guys sing like they can. Not the Beatles, the Stones, Nsync, NOBODY. I know they don't write all of their own songs (yet), but their voices are what sets them apart from the crowd.

And the lyrics and music? What's the matter with love? 90% of all the songs you will hear w/lyrics are about LOVE. It really is what makes the world go 'round, b/c without love, I don't think people could survive. And the Boys' songs epitomize love in every way. As Long As You Love Me basically about how it doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, what you did, as long you love someone. I'll Never Break Your Heart may sound delusional to some, but it is all about love at first sight, and it describes the feelings you have when you first love somebody. Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely is an achingly beautiful song about heartache and loneliness. Not to mention the two I Want It That Ways. Look at any of their songs, and you will be touched by the romance of the lyrics, the smoothness of the music, and absoulte beauty of the voices.

Love is everything to me. That's why I love the Backstreet Boys.

My Comments: This girl LOVES the Backstreet Boys. Also included in her e-mail was a list of all the BSB stuff she owns...ALOT. I didn't list it cuz it was too long. Anyway, I think she deserved this!

Hey! I am BSB #1 Fan because I've done a lot of weird stuff. I have a web-site : (http://dylm.cjb.net). Once, I went to a BSB Concert and saved the confetti that feel from the arena just because it was from a BSB Concert. I also sang in the middle of a mall just to win Millennium. As Long As You Love Me isn't the easiest song in the world to sing, nevermind the fact I am tone deaf. I also had to stand up in front of my class one time, because I had got caught showing a friend of mine a picture of Nick Carter, and for five minutes I had to explain to the class why Nick occupied my time, and why he deserved my attention more. It was sorta funny.

My Comments: About the whole get up in front of the class and explain why Nick occupied her time more, is probably the biggest reason why I picked her. I mean- c'mon! Teachers should know why BSB is more important! I thought it would be fun and very funny if I had to do that! And I give her credit for singing in a mall- considering she said she's tone deaf!!
