Angelique as Christine in the Phantom of the Opera


I live in the great state of and worked as an usher at the Music Hall at the Great State Fair of Texas. When I was at college at East Texas State University, one of my favorite things was watching "Dark Shadows", a gothic soap opera, in the afternoon. Lara Parker played Angélique, a witch in love with Barnabus, the warm-hearted vampire played by Jonathan Frid. She was a very strong-willed woman.

I also love the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, "The Phantom of the Opera" but I always wondered if Angélique could be his Christine instead of the submissive Christine in the musical.Two forces of the Music of the Night......
