Pale turns into darkness and the sky screams. The trees shake their angry limbs as the rain tumbles to the bitter ground. I stood there, drenched, watching and drawing pictures of the sky inside my mind. Blackened smoke clouds ran across the sky as if trying to run for their lives. The rain played a familiar tune and I couldn't help but to hum it repeatedly until my mind went blank. The thunder was calmer than usual. Lightening only brightened the gray sky once before my deep brown eyes and then hid itself behind the shadows of the clouds. The rain danced off it's feet before it hit the end and melted into the ground. It tasted of bitter sweetness. The wind was apathetic, knocking down anything that tried to stop him. If he was only strong enough to carry me away... I walked in the rain cold but I didn't care. I was alone but it never crossed my mind. The rain, my artificial tears, rolled off my face and finally I found the strength to crack a smile.
