I know that I can't take no more

It ain't no lie

I wanna see you out that door

baby bye bye bye

don't wanna be a fool for you

just another player in your game for two

you may hate me but it ain't no lie

bye bye bye

don't really wanna make it tough

I just wanna tell you that I've had enough

might sound crazy but it ain't no lie

Bye bye bye

Ashley stood off to the side of the stage, watching these five guys in awe as they sang and danced their butts off. This was the last song of the concert ,and she really liked what she saw. They were all so full of life and so entertaining, and she could only imagine how much fun it would be on our with them. Now she focused in on the curly haired man she had met earlier that day on that very same stage.

You just hit me with the truth

Now girl you're more than welcomed too

So give me one good reason

Baby come on

I lived for you and me

And now I've really come to see

That life would be much better

Once you're gone

She found herself staring at him as he sang, while winking at some of the girls and doing some very suggestive and dirty dance moves. Her practically hypnotized the crowd of 2,000 teenage girls, and also a few older ones, including herself. The song ended and they ran off the stage to the backstage area. Ashley was tempted to go congratulate them and meet the rest of the members, but she figured she would wait until tomorrow afternoon when she was bound to meet up with them again.

"Yo that was awesome! I miss playing for the smaller crowds," JC exclaimed as the five guys walked backstage. Tonight they didn't have to rush out to the bus because they were staying there overnight.

"You must be crazy, man! There aren't as many hot chicks at the small places!" Everyone rolled their eyes at Joey's comment, and were expecting something else to come out of his girl crazy mouth. "I saw one who was standing on the side of the stage...smokin'!" He finished with a Jim Carey impression. When he said this, Justin perked up because he saw the girl he talked to earlier on the side of the stage, too.

"What did she look like?" They all turned to him with shocked expressions on their faces because nobody ever asked about girls Joey saw, mostly because he thought every one of them was hot. Joey's shocked expression quickly turned to an excited smile as he began to describe her.

"Well, she was on the side of the stage, she was wearing black pants and a yellow shirt, medium length brown hair, and damn was she hot!" Justin thought back in his memory to remember what the girl he met earlier was wearing at the concert.

"Oh, I think I know who you are talking about. I met her earlier today."

"You did? When?" Joey asked, obviously glad his friend had a connection to this girl.

"When I went out to check out the stage, her and her friend came on, so we talked for a minute."

"And..." "And what? She seemed like, not really talkative, they left really fast. But anyway, when are we going back to the hotel?" Justin asked, changing the subject from Ashley.

"Soon, hopefully, so get your stuff together," Lance said as he was zipping up his bag. Justin got up and left the room to go find where he had left his jacket. He began turning down hallways once again, not really sure where he was going. He did prop the door open so he could find it easier, but it wasn't helping too much right about now. He finally turned down one more hallway and saw the cracked door, so he went right in. The first thing he saw was a blue and yellow journal that was halfway under one of the pillows on the couch. He walked over and picked it up, but did no see a name anywhere on it. He figured someone had left it there, so he took it with him and made a mental note to ask the guys if they knew who it belonged to later on. He got his jacket and bag on the chair on the side of the room and left to go back and meet the guys where they were.

It was about 10 pm and Ashley was still in a daze from the concert. Right about now she had a million thoughts running through her head about the decision she was going to make about being stage director on the *N Sync tour, how her life would change if she took the job, and the five guys she would practically be living with for three months. An opportunity like this wasn't exactly common for a twenty year old, and it would be such a great experience for her. Not only the job itself, but the travelling all over the country and meeting all types of new people. If it was her choice and her choice only, she would take the job in a heartbeat. However, she had John at home who would never let her go. She needed a way to encourage him that ist was a good thing to do and that she would get good money for it, but she had a feeling he would never apporove of her living on the road, expecially since it would be with five guys. Her options were simply go by persuading him which would be just about impossible, don't go, or break up with him, which was also impossible. She wandered into her room where her belongings were and got her bag and jacket. Her drive home would mainly be consisted of thoughts on her decision, which was not an easy one to make.

"Guys, do you know who this belongs to?" Justin asked, holding up the journal in front of his groupmate's faces.

"Nope."

"No."

"No."

"It's mine." Everyone looked over at Chris who had a serious face. "What? I write in it to extract my fears and my personal business...it gets lonely on the road." Everyone was silent for another moment until bursting into a fit of laughter.

"Guys- seriously, you don't know who this belongs to?" They all shook their heads and Justin sighed, figuring it was no use since there was no name on it. He threw it in his bag and sat down, joining in on what the guys were talking about.

"John! I'm home!" Ashley called out once she entered her apartment. The kitchen lights were off and the living room lights were dimmed, and the bedroom she and John shaired had no lights on, but she heard him talking inside. She wasn't sure who he was talking to, unless he was on the phone, so she walked right into the room.

She was shocked at what she saw.

Lying in the bed was John, and snuggled up beside him, half naked, was Kimberly Matthews, a girl Ashley had worked with about two months ago at a pharmacy. She was a stuck up slut in Ashley's opinion, but guys always found her as hot stuff.

She had a hard time finding her voice as she looked at the two, who were now looking back at her with the same look of shock across their faces.

"What the hell is this?" She carefully asked, trying her best not to scream and to keep her cool.

"Um, what do you mean? You are never home, and Kim came over today, and well, here we are." Tears were burning in her eyes and she felt like she was going to go over and smack the girl.

"Get out. Now." She firmly said, looking directly at Kim. She quietly grabbed her shirt and quickly put it on, and left. As soon as ethey heard the door slam behind them, Ashley broke down in tears. They weren't tears of love she was crying, they were tears of umiliation and confusion. Cather her boyfriend of two years in bed with someone else was horrible. It made her feel like she wasn't good enough for him, or for anyone. She was also cring over the whole situation she was in. Her life could take a dramatic turn for the better, but she had to allow that to happen.

"Baby, I'm so sorry. You know I love you," John said softly as he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. She was in a very vulnerable state, and wasn't about to fight or argue with him. She stood there and cried against his shoulder, and decided it was time to ask.

"John?" She asked, pulling away from him and looking into his eyes. "I, I've been offered a new job, and I will be stage director for a group, and I would get lots of money." John's face lit up, and he bent down to kiss her, but she stopped him. "But, it will require me to leave and go on a tour." As soon as she said this, his facial expressions dropped, and she couldn't read what he was thinking.

"For how long?"

"Three months." He stood there for another moment, looking as if he was in deep thought, and indeed he was. Normally, he would never let her do something like this, but he was getting sick or her. He wanted a new girl, someone who could please him in many ways, just like Ashley did at first when they were going out. He wasn't going to break up with her, but if she was gone for three months he could certainly have his fun with some other women without her knowing.

"I think you should take it. It would be a great opportunity for you, Ash." For a minute she stood there, shocked about his words. He had just given her permission to leave, for three months, going around the country. He would normally have a problem with her going out with some friends on a Friday night, but now he was basically setting her free, and her life was about to take a dramatic turn.
