Never Mind to Which Direction the Wind Blows

The ordinary days

Quietly and slightly pass away

One day after another day

It is said that

To live dully and colorlessly

Is to waste the life ruthlessly

So don’t worry too much

About the result of the story

Just give it a good beginning

The gentle breeze is rising

So casually and carelessly

Never mind

To which direction the wind blows

What it carries away

Is the dullness of life

And what it brings about

Is the excitement in your heart

Even if you become

Paralyzed in agony

It will be a kind of sorrowful beauty

And romance with melancholy

Don’t set up defenses purposefully

And worry that you will be hurt deeply

The holiest realm of beauty is being natural

Just let yourself be directed by your feeling

No matter where you will be

I know I always lose myself in the discourse

Now when the wind is rising

And the clouds are scudding in the sky

I ask myself quietly

Whether I will lose myself

Again in my own feeling
