A mornings mist climbs over the hills
On to the vast space beyond your comprehension
For a breif moment, time freezes
You wonder how mist can be so quiet
You wonder if the mist will get to you and overwelmingly surround you
If it will swallow and drown your fears, your worries, your problems
The mist creeps to your pourch and you greet it
The mist wraps in a cold blanket of moisture
And that moment in time comes
engulfing you in a comfort so wonderful a rich calmness comes over you making you feel so safe you wish it never leaves you
The mist slowly escapes from your grasp and you are left feeling wonderful and wondering if the mist will come to visit you tomorrow morning, once again drownding the world like it does every morning when it climbs over the hills
