I love all the Bee Gees music. But everyone has songs that have special meaning to them. Their favorite songs.

I'll share my favorite Bee Gees songs if you share yours (and you have to explain why) I will add your favorites to this page.

So what are you waiting for? E-mail me.

Now I'll start with three of my favorites.

MASSACHUSETTS

I have always loved this song. I grew up in Whitman, Massachusetts. In 1979, when I was 20 I moved down to Norfolk, Virginia. I lived there for 18 years before I moved back to Massachusetts. During those 18 years everytime I heard the Bee Gees sing Massachusetts I would get home sick.

CLOSER THAN CLOSE

I love how Maurice sings this song. I wish he would sing lead more. It's fun to watch him sing it on the "One Night Only" video. Mo always seems so involved in the music.

LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT

I just love the sound of this song. The way their voices blend and the tempo of the song. I could listen to this song over and over. Singing along everytime.

BABI GIBB'S FAV SONGS

Wish You Were Here - I know it's sad song, but, we never knew that someday this would "fit" to Moby too...It's impossible not to cry when you listen to this one...Very deep and lovely and...amazing. Wedding Day - It's so cool, I don't know how to explain, such a romatic song and, you can use it on your wedding! Walking on Air - I love every Moby's stuff, but this one is special, his voice, the song itself, really good stuff... Overnight - It's amazing, Moby's voice again, wich is wonderful that rock beat, very cool. Idea - Old, but good stuff, a very cool song... Well, I love every song of the Bee Gees, and, it's hard to choice those you like the most...But these are songs I really apreciate.. Aw, and just to let you know, I'm brazilian,I'm thirteen and I love them...I can be the one to make Bee Gees even more immortal, right? And in most of all, make Moby immortal...well, that's life... You can put my name as Babi Gibb... Thanks, bye!!!

KRISTINA'S FAV SONGS

Actually I don't think I've ever heard a song by the Bee Gees I didn't like! But Mo is my favorite! I love You Win Again and How Deep is Your Love. But Closer than Close is my absolute favorite! I play it over and over in my car. My husband is probably praying that the tape breaks soon! I love Mo's voice, It is so smooth and sexy. I just wish he could have sang lead more often!

RED ROSE'S FAV SONGS

I will choose words and I started a joke. I just listened to them again and again...and life is a joke... sometimes!!!

PENNY'S FAV SONGS

Listing only 3 is hard..............I love them all, but here are my favs............and why. 1. I LOVE MASSACHUSETTS, mostly because I love the perfect harmony of the song and I also like the words and what they are really saying. There will NEVER be a 3-part harmony so perfect to my ears again! 2. THIS IS WHERE I CAME IN, I like this song because it is such a great tribute to an entire body of work and it makes that work come full circle! and 3. MAN IN THE MIDDLE, I like this one because Maurice has such a great voice and it seems to mirror parts of his own life so much that he sings it with such feeling on that CD! I like all their voices, but even Barry has said that Maurice is the MASTER OF HARMONY...............I agree, and that probably led him to not sing as much lead as some of us would have liked! What a great voice that will be kept alive through existing work, but will also be missed as to what really could have been continued to be accomplished!

JOY'S FAV SONGS

It's hard to pick a few favorites when you love all the music and have been a fan since the first song was released in the U.S. in the l960's; but, I'll try! Lately, I've been listening alot to For Whom The Bell Tolls - I loved this song from the first time I heard it, it has such emotion that grips the heart and since Maurice's passing I associate this song with him "For you it's goodbye, For me it's to cry, For whom the bell tolls". I also love Immortality - another one that grips the heart, and again since Maurice's passing I relate it to him as "we don't say goodbye" as I don't believe we'll ever say goodbye to him through memories and his music. Closer than Close has become a favoite, it's nice that Maurice sings it and it's fun to watch him perform it, and the music almost has a futuristic sound to it - makes my fantasies come true LOL. Wedding Day is another beautiful one, listen to the words and you will see why, Robin's angelic voice excels on this - my husband and I have decided we will have this played when we renew our vows. I could go on and on, but for now I'll leave it at that - but please know I love all the music now and forever - it has been the soundtrack for my life and each song holds special memories. My love and prayers are for Barry, Robin and the entire Gibb family and may sweet Maurice be at peace and also be with Andy.

GENINE'S FAV SONGS

after listening to the brothers gibb since 1972 (i love them all) i have two absolute favorites: come on over - no matter what that song always makes me cry overnight - i love mo's voice on it i play it over and over my six year old morgan loves - nights on broadway and edge of the universe

SHARON'S FAV SONGS

"How deep is your love" I always pictured Barry singing this song to me (like that would ever happen). But a girl can dream right?!!! They are the best band that has ever lived. I love their sound, looks and their talent for song writing. Maurice will be sadly missed.

TRAGEDY'S FAV SONGS

NEW YORK MINE DISASTER 1941- This is my favorite song because I just like the sound of it. It just has alot of emotion in it. Also I'm really into history.(It's one of my favorite school subjects.) And I really didnt know about the mine disaster till I heard this song.

TRAGEDY- Well this one is kinda obvious. It's my nickname!!!! LOL!!! Also I like the beat to the song. Pretty cool song.....

MELISSA'S FAVORITE SONGS-

My favorites are "Butterfly", "In the Morning" (two oldies) "You Win Again", "Juliet", "One", and I absolutely love the way Maurice sings "House of Shame" on the "One For All Live" video. "How Deep is your Love" (for Mo, very, very deep, lol!)

.... Ok, I love EVERY song of the BeeGees!

TIMOTHY'S FAVORITE SONG

I Like the song Stayin' Alive! Because it's very danceable and I heard the song in clubs and on the radio plus I have the Saturday Night Fever Movie & Soundtrack Album. It Rocks! Keep on rockin!

KIM'S FAVORITE SONG

CLOSER THAN CLOSE. The way Mo sings this is too sexy. He needs to sing leads more. I love Barry & Robin, but Maurice is to die for.

SANDI'S FAVORITE SONGS

I don't have every album they've put out (yet--I'm working on it) but my favorite I think is "Morning Of My Life" that Barry wrote--when he was a teenager! The lyrics and music is so melancholy, it always makes me cry. And anything by Maurice (my personal favorite) because he writes the most erotic lyrics, i.e., "Let me be the one to taste you" -- Above And Beyond, "She got me climbing the walls; Got me hard as a rock"--Dimensions. I could go on and on. If I were to build my perfect man, Maurice has got it hands down. It just doesn't end with him! I did not know that was him doing background vocal on "Anything For You" ("You know...") No wonder that sounds so sexy. I loved that song the first time I heard it because of the background vocals.

Just thought I'd share...Sandi
