While Mars Stood Watch
I saw Tori tonight, the most beautiful night of the summer, with the biggest, brightest Mars in 60,000 years overhead. She was wearing another one of her floaty dresses, with red and yellow fabric hanging from the shoulders. I was sitting in section 3L, row M, which was most of the way to the right and about halfway back, which wasn't bad. I was happy to hear a lot of songs I didn't get to hear last time: Cornflake Girl, which is my favorite, Tombigbee, which I haven't gotten to hear live yet, as well as Professional Widow and Precious Things. Tori didn't say much at all this time, except to say that this was one of her favorite places to play, but she did a great improv about being forgetful after you turn 40, which was really cute. Other than the loud "woohoo" girls sitting next to me, it was perfect. =) I also got one of these:
