Skywhale U.K. Rock/Jazz/Folk/Psychedelic band from the 1970s. Flute player Stan plays on my song "Soldier" from my Time Flies album.

Stackridge Imagine The Beatles with girls, accordion, violins, flute and Alice In Wonderland poetic imagery, and you would be getting close to this band, who's first LP, pictured here, was often playing in my second year at Bristol university in the 1970s. I would also see the band walking round Clifton to their leaky abode in West Mall. Anyone half as old as I am would probably know songwriters James Warren and Andrew Creswell-Davis as The Korgis.

Steve Tilston A favorite guitarist and songwriter in the folk genre, popular in England. Steve used to be my neighbor when I lived in Clifton, Bristol UK in the early 1970s, and I would often see him play at the Bristol Troubadour Club in the heart of Clifton.

David Rappaport The late "Little Dave", as he was known, delighted his fellow students at Bristol University with his extrovert and charismatic personality. Dave starred in many university theatre productions, the Edinburgh Festival, Glastonbury, and then went on to become a well known actor in Britain and the U.S., starring in Time Bandits and The Wizard.

Fred Wedlock Veteran West Country folker, TV host and speaker. Sadly Fred passed away in March of 2010 and will fondly remembered by many as one of England's most talented entertainers.Fred used to take me on his gigs in Somerset when I was at university, where I would play a song or two as a warm for his stage set.
