What Happened at the Balloon Festival
Hey everyone! Ok i'm about to tell you what happened on August 20th. Ok, well I got there really early. I saw Take 5 perform and noticed no one sat, they all stood. So as soon as the crowd cleared to get their autograph, I stood, and stood.. and stood..lol
I stood for 3 hours until BBMak came out. They sang about 6 songs and were soooo good! I made a really cute sign and my mom held it up. Christian and Mark both saw it and laughed. At one point I waved at Mark and he mouthed "hello". I almost died of happiness! lol
So anywayz, we had asked earlier where BBMak would be signing autographs. Everyone who worked at the festival told my mom and I something different. So toward the end of "Back here", my mom and I ran to this balloon where they were supposed to be signing.
After a while, we found out we were at the wrong place. Finally we went to the side of the stage where they were signing, and the line was so long I wanted to cry! Luckily my friends were at the front of the line and they let me cut (thanks so much guys, i luv ya!).
As I waited online, Mark smiled at me and waved quite a few times as well as christian. My mom got pics of that!
Finally I got up to the autograph table. The night before I had made worry dolls that looked like them. For those of you who are like "what IS a worry doll?" the legend is, u tell your worries and problems to a lil doll made of a clothespin that looks like you, put it under your pillow and when you wake up, your worries are supposed to have faded away. Anywayz, I gave Ste his doll and he was laughing and was like "oh my gosh that is too cute!"
My mom was explaining to him what worry dolls are, but a rock band was playing loudly on stage so he couldn't hear.. I was staring at Ste..until I realized Mark and Christian were staring at me waiting for me to do something! LOL so I said to christian "I made this for you" and he was like "wow!" then mark was like "where's mine?" I laughed and gave it to him and i held it out for like a minute and he was just looking at it and laughing! Finally he took it and he touched my hand and thanked me! All this time, the music was blaring and Ste was examining the doll closely, so he still hadn't signed the booklet! Finally the all signed my CD booklet .
I looked back at them and Ste smiled and gave me a thumbs up. Mark and Christian held their dolls to their cheeks and smiled. They were sooooo gorgeous, and incredibly nice guys. I'm so glad they liked my dolls! That's my story!
A HUGE Thanks to my friends, who made the whole thing possible because I may have never met BBMak if my friends didn't let me backsie cut!
