How was Guns N' Roses & L.A..Guns conneced? Tracii Guns gave Guns N' Roses half of their name but parted ways before the gunners made their success. Tracii was part of the first Guns N Roses line up that included Axl Rose,Tracii Guns, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin and Rob Gardner. Some say that Tracii and Rob were fired from GnR because of their lack of engagement with the band. Days before the first GnR tour they were replaced by Slash and Steven Adler. The rest is now history. Nobody has ever heard Axl, Izzy or Duff talking about Tracii Guns.There's also rumours that Tracii plays on a GnR unreleased track called "Crash Diet". Tracii mentioned them once, when he said that he left the band too early because of money.
