"Where the hell is Lance?" Jill screamed through the halls of the studio.
"Baby, calm down. I'm sure he'll be here," JC assured her.
"OK, I hope you're right," Jill said walking into her and Alli's dressing room.
"Joey, stop it, I'm trying to get ready," Alli scolded.
"Yeah, shouldn't the two of you be getting ready?" Candice asked.
"I guess so. Come on JC, let's get out of here," Joey said.
"I hope the show goes well. I mean there's a lot at stake," Jill said to Alli.
"Like our jobs, our careers,..." Alli said.
"Y'all have to stop thinking like that. The show will be fine," Candice said.
There was a knock at the door.
"JC, Joey, stop playing around!" Jill yelled.
When the door opened they noticed it was Mike the production manager. "You're on in five minutes," he told them.
"Is everybody here and accounted for?" Alli asked.
"Yeah, we're all set," he told them.
Alli, Jill and Candice walked to the set to say hello to the guys. They all looked very handsome, yet very nervous.
"Hey guys, how's it going?" Jill asked.
"Fine. We're just a little nervous," Lance said.
"Well, there's nothing to be nervous about. Jill and I will be here the whole time," Alli assured them.
"I think that we would all feel a lot better if we knew who the girls were," Chris said.
"One of you will know shortly," Jill told them.
"Guys, please put your headphones on and sit back and relax," Candice told them.
"Alli and Jill, go ahead and take your places," Mike told them.
"Ok guys, here we go," Jill said as she and Alli walked around the wall.
As the theme music started Alli looked at Jill, "This is gonna be the best show ever."
"Hi, and welcome to another show of CHEMISTRY. I'm Jill and this is my co-host Alli."
"We have a very special show for you today. This is actually the first of three shows we will be taping for Valentine's Day," Alli told the audience.
"Our five celebrity bachelors make up the music group *NSYNC," Jill said.
"Bachelor number one is Justin Timberlake. He is 19 years old and is from Tennessee," Alli said.
"Bachelor number two is Lance Bass. He is 20 years old and comes from Mississippi," Jill said.
"Bachelor number three is Joey Fatone. He is 23 years old and hails from New York," Alli said with a big smile on her face.
"Bachelor number four is JC Chasez. He is 23 years old and comes to us via Washington D.C.," Jill said smiling back at Alli.
"And bachelor number five is Chris Kirkpatrick. He is 28 years old and is from Pennsylvania," Alli concluded.
"Now that you know the bachelors, let's meet the first bachelorette," Jill said.
"She is from right here in Orlando, she's 18 years old and attends the local community college. Please give a warm welcome to Andrea Parker," Alli said.
"This is how the game works," Jill began, "We have five bachelors to choose from and we're gonna let our bachelorette loose with her questions."
Mike motioned to the guys to remove their headphones.
"Is everybody ready?" Alli asked.
"Yes," everyone said in unison.
"Hi guys, I'm gonna start with an easy one.
Bachelor number one, what is the craziest thing you've ever done to let a girl know you like her?" Andie asked.
Justin thought for a moment, "Well, I actually got up on stage at a packed dance club and sang karaoke to her. It was embarrassing but I wanted to prove to her that I liked her a lot. I think she was impressed by it."
"That is so sweet," Andie said as she put a check next to bachelor number one, "Ok, bachelor number two, if you were a part of the circus, would you be the ringmaster, the lion tamer, or a clown in a small car?"
Lance started laughing, "That's a tough one. I'm debated over the lion tamer or the clown but I think I'll go with the lion tamer as my final answer."
"Very interesting," Andie said, "Any particular reason why you would be the lion tamer?"
"Well I'm not into being the center of attention so I wouldn't be the ringmaster and I'm not that funny so I wouldn't be the clown. I do feel I have control in chaotic situations so I'm going with the lion tamer," Lance explained.
"I love a man that has power," Andie said, "Ok, bachelor number three, when you go out on a first date do you prefer beer and pizza, a candelit dinner, or burn baby burn, disco inferno?"
"Burn baby burn, disco inferno," Joey sang, "I love to dance and I love it when a woman's not afraid to show off her dance moves. If I can get you to bust a move on the first date, then I know we're gonna click right away."
"Interesting, very interesting," Andie said scratching number three from the list, "Bachelor number four, when saying goodnight on the first date do you end with a simple kiss, an invitation to sleep over, or a marriage proposal?"
"Oh god," JC said, "I actually wouldn't do any of the three. Especially not a sleepover or a marriage proposal. I don't believe in kissing on the first date. I would probably end with a hug if I really liked you or a handshake if I just wanted to be friends."
"Wow, that's a really good answer," Andie said impressed, "Ok, one more question. Bachelor number five, if you were part of an exhibit in the zoo, would you be in the monkey cage, the snake pit, or the petting zoo?"
"This is too easy and I think my good buddies up here would agree with me. I would definitely be part of the monkey cage. I love to be crazy and off the wall. I'm sure I'd be right at home there," Chris said.
"Oh really?" Andie said scratching number five off the list as well.
"Ok, bachelorette, you have one final question that all five must answer. Go ahead and ask," Jill told her.
"Ok, starting with bachelor number five, what is the most important characteristic a girl must have?"
"An off the wall sense of humor," Chris said.
"Sincerity," JC followed.
"She has to like to have fun and be able to laugh at herself," Joey answered.
"Honesty," Lance said.
Justin thought for a moment and then said, "Confidence, definitely confidence."
"Thank you bachelors," Alli said, "We're gonna take a quick break while our bachelorette makes her decision."
"So Andie, who have you narrowed it down to?" Jill asked as soon as the camera stopped rolling.
"Well, I definitely like one, two and four. Three and five are a little too wild for me," Andie told them.
Jill looked at Alli and laughed. They both knew it would be a pretty interesting Valentine's Day if Andie picked bachelor number four.
"We're back from commercial and I believe our bachelorette has made her decision," Jill said.
"Well, it was tough. All the guys sound great but I think I'm gonna go with bachelor number one," Andie said.
Lance let out a sigh of relief as he pat Justin on the back, "Good luck man," he told him.
"Bachelor number one, come around the wall and meet your match," Alli said.
Justin stood up, walked around the wall and came face to face with Andrea. They both looked shocked for a moment, then went to hug each other.
"I didn't know you were doing the show," Andrea whispered in Justin's ear.
"You didn't say anything either," Justin said back.
"This is too creepy," Andie said.
"Yeah, it must be fate," Justin said smiling down at her.
