Chapter Twenty One

"Could we please have the guys put their headphones back on while we bring out the next bachelorette?" Jill asked.

"Please give a round of applause for Jennifer Taylor. She also comes from Orlando and is 18. She's looking for a guy who's not that wild to help calm her down," Alli said leading Jenn to her seat.

"Now, is everyone ready?" Jill asked.

"Yes," everyone said in unison.

"Go ahead bachelorette, the show is yours," Alli told her.

"Bachelor number one, what is the craziest thing a girl has ever done to get your attention?" Jenn asked.

"Well, I would have to say the craziest thing that has ever happened to me was when I was performing. A woman used her bra as a slingshot and hit me in the head with it. It was really embarrassing but that got my attention," Lance said.

They all laughed.

"That is so funny," Jenn said circling number one, "Bachelor number two, where is the best place to meet someone: the grocery store, church or a club?"

"That is easy, definitely a club. I love to shake my bon bon," Joey said laughing.

"Ok, thank you number two. Sounds like you're a lot of fun. Bachelor number three, how long would you wait to call a girl once you've gotten her number?"

"I would probably say about three days," JC said.

"Any reason why?" Jenn asked.

"Well you don't want to call after one day cuz you would seem too eager. But if you wait longer than a week the girl will lose interest," he explained, "Three days is perfect. It's not too soon and it's not too late."

"Alright, bachelor number four, which is your favorite way to dress on a date: sporty/casual, dressy/formal, or unusual/crazy?"

"Definitely unusual/crazy. I love to be different and stand out in a crowd," Chris told her.

"Now, for my last question. I'll start with number one. What is the first thing you notice about a girl?" Jenn asked.

"Her eyes," Lance said, "You can tell a lot about someone from their eyes."

"Her smile," Joey said, "You gotta have pretty teeth."

"Her lips. I love lips," JC said.

"Her butt," Chris said laughing hysterically.

"Ok, now let's take a break for our bachelorette to make her decision," Alli said shaking her head.

"So, have you narrowed it down?" Jill asked Jenn after the cameras stopped rolling.

"Yep, I want number one. Definitely number one," she said.

"Welcome back to CHEMISTRY. Let's find out what lucky bachelor will be going out with our bachelorette. Have you made your decision?" Alli asked Jenn.

"Yes I have. The choice was easy, I'm going with number one," she said.

"Bachelor number one are you ready?" Jill asked.

Lance sat frozen for a second. He was hoping they hadn't called his number. He looked at JC and reluctantly stood up. Joey gave him a thumb's up sign.

"Bachelor number one are you there?" Jill asked again.

Lance walked around the wall and stopped suddenly, "Hey there," he said smiling.

The cameras stopped rolling and Alli and Jill went over to where JC, Joey and Chris were sitting, leaving Lance and Jenn alone.

"This is really fun!" JC said.

"Yeah, I kinda feel like a loser though cuz I haven't been picked," Joey said.

"Me too," Chris added.

"Don't worry, we have one more show to tape so you might get picked," Jill told them.

"Hey, I didn't think you wanted to get picked," Alli said trying to look hurt.

"I know, baby, I was only kidding," Joey said pulling Alli to him.

"We're breaking for lunch so we'll tape the last show around 1," Jill told them.

"Cool, let's get Justin and Lance and go eat," Chris said.

"Actually, they're gonna be having lunch with their dates," Alli said smiling.

"What's going on?" JC asked, "Do they have to?"

"They don't have to, but I'm sure they want to," Jill said.

"Y'all are killing us with all this secrecy," Chris said as they headed towards the car.
