Alli walked down a long dark hallway. She heard her name being called softly from one of the rooms. She opened the door to the room and followed the sound of the male voice calling her name. The room was still dark but she knew someone was there. She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned around quickly. She still couldn't see anything.
She called out, "Who's there?" and got no response.
She felt his arms go around her waist as he kissed her neck softly and made his way to her lips.
"Joey?" she said aloud.
"No, it's not Joey, it's Chris," the voice said back.
Alli bolted upright in her bed, "Holy shit!" she said aloud, "What the hell was that?"
She looked over to see Joey lying there fast asleep. "My god," she thought, "It must have been a dream."
She lay back down and tried to go back to sleep. She couldn't shake the vision of Chris kissing her.
"Ugh," she groaned as she pulled the covers over her head and forced herself to close her eyes.
Andie rolled over and picked up the phone, "Hello?"
"Hey babe, are you awake?" Andie heard Bryan's voice.
"I am now," she told him crankily.
"Well, what are we doing today?" Bryan asked.
"I don't know, I have to work today," she lied, "And I have to go on my date for my sister's show tonight. I don't really see much time for anything else."
"Okay," Bryan said, sounding disappointed, "I guess I'll call you later."
Andie hung up the phone, "Geez, that guy doesn't give up," she thought to herself. She looked at the clock, "And he called me at 7 a.m.!"
She put her pillow over her head.
"Go away!" she called out when she heard a knock on her door.
The knock got louder.
"Dammit!" she exclaimed as she got out the bed and jerked the door open.
Justin was standing there with a rose and a paper bag.
"I hope you don't want me to go away," he said handing her the rose and bag, "I brought you breakfast if that's okay."
Jaime' had let Justin and Lance into the apartment.
"Hey Lance, where's Joey?" Jaime' asked.
"I don't know, I haven't talked to him today," Lance told her as he opened the door to Jenn's bedroom.
As Lance walked into the bedroom he noticed Jenn sleeping peacefully in her bed. He stood there watching her sleep for a few minutes. He finally leaned down to her and kissed her on the cheek. She opened her eyes slowly.
"Lance?" she asked.
"Yeah, it's me," he answered.
"What are you doing here? I thought you were gonna call."
"I thought I would surprise you."
"Well, you definitely surprised me. Look at me. I look terrible," she said trying to fix herself.
"You look beautiful, Jennifer," he told her.
"Thank you. So, what are we gonna do today?"
"I have the whole day planned. You'll just have to trust me," Lance teased.
"Okay, I'm gonna get dressed now," she told him.
"I'll go wait in the living room."
Jaime' picked up the phone and dialed the number. It rang 3 or 4 times then the answering machine picked up, "Hey, this is Joey, you know what to do. Talk to you soon," Jaime' heard and hung up before the beep.
Lance walked into the living room to wait for Jenn.
"Lance, do you have Joey's cell phone number?" Jaime' asked.
"What do you need it for?" Lance questioned.
"I need to talk to him about our date tonight."
"Oh, okay, here it is."
"Thanks," Jaime' said as she dialed the number.
"Hello?" Joey said.
"Hey Joey, whatcha doing?" Jaime' asked.
"I actually just woke up," he told her.
"That's why you didn't answer at home?"
"I'm not at home," he informed her.
"Where are you then?"
"I'm next door at Alli and Jill's."
"Well, we need to discuss the date," Jaime' said sounding pissed that he was at Alli's apartment and had obviously stayed the night.
"I'll be over in a few," Joey told her.
"Okay, bye."
"Who was that?" Alli asked.
"Jaime', she wants to talk about our date."
"Oh, whatever!" Alli shot back.
Joey got dressed and started out the door.
"Have fun with the squirt tonight!" JC said laughing.
"Very funny, JC. Alli, I'll call you later," Joey said as he walked out the door.
