"Matchmaker Productions, this is Jill. May I help you?"
"Hey, come to my office for a sec," Alli said into the phone.
"Sure, I'll be right there," Jill told her.
As Jill walked into Alli's office she noticed that there were papers and cards scattered all over her desk.
"So, what's up?" Jill asked.
"Well, Candice, Jeff and I have a great idea for the show on Monday."
"Okay, what is it?"
"We want you to be the bachelorette."
"No way, I'm not doing that!" Jill protested.
"Come on Jill, you are single and we think it would be good for the ratings. And if you don't agree then I'll just have to get Jeff to make you do it," Alli teased.
"So, now it's like that?" Jill asked.
"Yep! So just come on and say yes."
"Fine. But I'm not happy about it," Jill told her.
"Candice and I are going out to dinner tonight, you wanna come?"
"No, JC's supposed to call tonight."
"So, you're gonna talk to him?"
"Yeah, I figured I should let him explain. Even though that girl is still at his house," Jill finished.
"How do you know that?"
"I drove by there yesterday."
"Oh you did? And why is that?"
"I don't know, I just did."
"Well, I can tell you that it's not what you think," Alli offered.
"Why do you say that?"
"Because I talked to JC a few weeks ago and he explained everything to me."
"Really? So what's the deal then?"
"Why don't I let him tell you tonight."
"Fine, but you're really starting to aggravate me," Jill teased.
"Well, it's almost 5 and I have to go home and change for dinner," Alli told her.
"Yeah, I guess I'll just go wait by the phone."
The phone was ringing as Jill and Alli walked into the apartment.
"I'll get it," Alli said.
"Hello? Yeah, she's here, hold on a sec," she said into the phone.
"Jill, it's for you!"
"Thanks, I got it," Jill yelled back.
"Hello?"
"Hey, baby," JC said back.
Jill's voice caught in her throat for a moment. She fought to hold back her excitement.
"Hey JC," she replied.
"Do you have some time to talk?" JC asked hopefully.
"I have all night," Jill told him.
JC breathed a sigh of relief, "Jill," he began softly, "I'll do anything to patch us up. I love you more than you'll ever know." Jill remained silent as JC continued, "I want to tell you everything. Sharon is just a friend. We tried dating at first, but we both quickly realized that I'm in love with you, that I've always been in love with you," JC stopped suddenly.
"JC, please don't cry baby," Jill said softly into the phone, hearing JC let out a low whimper.
"I just want us to be together. The silent between us the last few weeks has killed me inside."
"It's gonna take some time to rebuild my trust in you, but you know I love you," Jill assured him.
"Are you serious?" Chris was asking Candice in disbelief.
"Yes, when I stopped by your house to pick up the mail there were girls camped out on your front lawn," Candice told him.
"Oh my God," Chris said. "The guys are never gonna believe this one!"
"Yeah, I was pretty shocked. I actually thought one of those girls were gonna try and let the air out of my tires," Candice continued.
"I'm sorry, babe. I guess I should talk to Johnny about beefing up our security."
"It doesn't both me," Candice assured him. "I just can't wait til you get home."
"Yeah, it's been crazy the last couple of weeks. I'll be glad to get home to a normal life."
"I don't know about normal, but at least you'll get to sleep in your own bed," Candice told him.
"Are you gonna be at the airport on Sunday?"
"Wild horses couldn't keep me away," Candice said with a laugh.
"I'm so excited!" Jenn exclaimed as she jumped up and down on her bed.
"Chill out," Andie said laughing, "You act like such a dork sometimes."
"Oh, and you think you're cool? You know you're just as excited about Justin coming home as I am about Lance," Jenn told her.
"I'm very excited. I just choose to be more calm," Andie said.
Andie started to pace back and forth, nervously, "Where is Alli and Jill? They said we were leaving at noon!"
"Look who needs to chill now? It's only 12:15, Andie," Jenn said, still jumping on the bed.
"I'm not waiting any longer. Let's go next door and hurry them up," Andie said as she grabbed her purse.
"Sounds good to me," Jenn agreed.
Jenn and Andie knocked on the door, "I guess we shouldn't be surprised, they're always late," Andie said as the apartment door swung open.
"Hey squirts! Y'all ready to go?" Alli asked them.
"Yeah, we've been ready for an hour now!" Jenn scolded.
"Then let's go get Candice and head to the airport," Jill said.
When the five girls got to the airport at 1:30, it was a mob scene. They had to push their way past girl after girl just to get to the gate. When they finally made their way through the mob of screaming girls, Jill noticed JC's brother, Tyler. He waved them over.
"Hey Ty, how have you been?" Jill asked.
"I've been great! You?"
"Pretty good. You know Alli, but do you remember the squirts?"
"Of course," he said, giving them all hugs.
"Tyler, this is Candice," Alli told him.
"So, I finally get to meet Candice!" he said with a grin on his face.
"Why do you say it like that?" Candice questioned.
"Because everytime JC would call home, I would get stuck listening to Chris gush and gush about 'Candice this' and Candice that'" Tyler told her.
"Really?" she said, a little too excited.
"Yep, you're all he talks about. Hey Jill, what's up between you and my brother?" he asked, changing the subject.
"He called me Thursday and explained everything, but he's still gonna have to earn my trust back," she told him as they watched the plane come into sight.
When the plane touched down and taxied in, there was a roar from the crowd.
"The guys are not gonna be ready for this," Alli said as the passengers started to exit the plane.
"Can you see them?" Jenn asked.
"Jenn, chill out. Regardless of if we see them first or not, we still get to go home with them," Andie told her.
"Oh yeah," Jenn said smiling.
