"Is your head okay?" Jill asked turning all her attention to JC.
The two of them launched into a deep conversation leaving Joey and Alli with each other.
"So, how was Europe?" Alli asked trying to make conversation.
"Europe was great, we really have a lot of fans over there, especially in Germany," he said enthusiastically. "Germany was just crazy!" Joey was glad to have something to talk about.
Alli listened to him tell of their adventures while they were in Germany, she was thinking back to when JC and Joey had first mentioned the idea of being in a music group to her and Jill. They had never laughed at them or discouraged them and had always been supportive. She was happy to see they were successful.
"Hello? Earth to Alli, where were you just then?" Joey questioned.
"Oh, I'm sorry," she said looking embarrassed, "I guess I have trouble comprehending that y'all are famous now. It's kinda weird, ya know?"
"I know," Joey agreed, "But I hope you don't think we've changed that much. We've really tried to stay grounded and live normal lives."
Joey knew he had changed a little. He wanted to somehow make Alli see it was a change for the better. When he had left Orlando, he had feelings for her but had trouble showing them. Even after Alli professed her feelings for him so honestly. He hadn't felt right about that and wanted to make it up to her.
"No, I don't think you've changed at all," she said honestly. "Is it weird having so many girls after you?"
"Actually," he started, "We love our fans and we appreciate the support, but we definitely keep our relationship with them on a separate level." Joey continued, "Honestly, it can get pretty lonely out on the road without someone special."
Joey thought for a minute and decided to ask Alli a question, "So, are you seeing someone special?"
"Yeah," Alli answered.
"Oh," Joey said looking crushed.
"I mean, no," she continued, "We actually just broke up last week. It wasn't anything too serious though."
Joey looked up quickly and locked eyes with Alli, "Oh, that's too bad," Joey said with a fake frown on his face, "I guess you're looking for your rebound guy now."
