"What are we gonna ride first?" Lance asked.
"Don't matter to me," Joey said.
"Well I wanna ride Space Mountain first. That's where I met my girls," JC said as he put his arms around Jill and Alli.
"That sounds good to me," Justin said.
"Me too," Andie agreed.
"Hey Alli, is JC gonna have to hold your hand again this time?" Joey teased.
"No, that's what your here for," Alli told him.
They were walking toward the line when Andie felt
her pager go off.
Andie decided not to call Bryan. There was no way she was gonna miss out on a day with Justin.
They ran around the park all day acting like kids,
riding practically every ride. What the girls didn't
know was that Chris had a plan up his sleeve.
"Hey," he suggested, "Has anyone been on that new
ride, Splash Mountain?"
"No, but I heard it's really cool," Andie told him.
"Wait," Jill said suddenly, "Isn't there a lot of
water involved in that ride?"
JC looked at Chris and quickly caught on to his
plan.
He elbowed Justin and said, "No way, there's
only a few drops in the bottom of the boat." he
assured them.
Lance flashed Joey a worried look. He didn't want
Jenn to think he was involved in Chris' stunt.
Especially when all he wanted to do was impress her.
Joey just shrugged and went along the JC, Chris and
Justin. He linked arms with Jill and Alli and led
them to the ride.
JC noticed Andie and Jenn didn't
move so he grabbed their hands and dragged them along,
"Come on 'squirts'," he said excitedly, "This is gonna
be fun."
Chris distracted the girls by pointing out some
rare flowers along the walkway. They didn't even
notice the sign that read, "CAUTION, Excessive water
involved with this ride!". They walked through the
turnstile and hopped in the boat. Jenn stepped in and
her foot was immediately submerged in water.
"Hey," she said as she got in and sat next to
Lance, "I thought there were only a few drops of
water."
"Take it easy, 'squirt'," JC said still trying to
distract her, "Maybe this boat's just been around the
mountain a few times."
Once everyone was strapped in, the boat started
moving through a dark tunnel.
Justin tapped Chris on the shoulder and asked, "So, should we tell them or let them find out for themselves?"
Andie quickly looked up and asked, "Tell us what?"
Just then the boat rounded the corner and took a sharp dive down. Alli saw the bottom and didn't have time to duck and cover. Jill started to scream but was
quickly drenched in the tidal wave. The ride stopped
and they all got out. The girls looked like drowned
rats.
"Oh my God! What a rush! Did you girls enjoy
that?" Chris asked laughing.
Jenn looked like she would kill him.
Alli saw how pissed she was so she thought fast, "Hey Jenn, don't you have to do the parade tonight?"
"Oh man, look at the time!" Jenn said, "I was
supposed to be there 10 minutes ago. I hope I'm dry in
time," she said glaring at Chris.
"I'll walk you there if you want me to," Lance told
her.
"Ok, that would be nice," Jenn told him.
They walked across the park towards the dressing room. Jenn saw Becca standing at the door.
"Jennifer, where have you been?" Becca asked her,
"We have a small problem."
"What's wrong?" Jenn asked.
"Ethan can't make it tonight, he's sick. We need
to find someone to fill in as 'THe Beast'." One of Jenn's main jobs at the park was to ride in the parade as 'Belle' from "Beauty and the Beast".
"I'll do it," Lance said.
"Are you sure? You don't have too," Jenn told him.
"I don't mind. It'll give me a chance to be alone
with you," Lance said with a smile.
"Ok, you can change in there," Jenn said blushing.
