Chapter Twenty Six

The next year went by so fast. I finished my album, and then I went on tour right after that. The tour was amazing. What surprised me even more was that, before Justin and I got married, Chris met this really awesome girl named Melanie and they got hitched.

Unfortunately, that was kind of the end of *N SYNC. It seemed as though nobody wanted to listen to a group that had a married member in it. That was bad, but in a way, it helped Justin and me. Oh and about my album…it…uh…got the record for most copies sold in a day!! It sold 3.21 million copies in one day. I was so happy! In that week, the album sold 10.68 million copies!! I was really excited about this!

Respectively, the name of the album was 'Forever.'

(2 years later)

"Justin, I can't wait any longer. She has to come soon," I said tapping my newly French-manicured nails on the table.

"I know! She's already 25 minutes late!" Justin said.

Who were we waiting for? The high almighty wedding planner! She was really late and our wedding was only in 2 more days. People arrived already from all over to come. Tonight was our rehearsal and we needed her there to mark where the flowers went in the church and everything.

Finally, I saw a blue Corvette pull up. "She's here, sweetie," I said.

When we finished going over where the flowers were going to go, we drove to the church to practice. Justin and I got in the car and then we had to wait for Virginia to get in hers and start to follow ours.

The rehearsal went fabulous. I was certain that this wedding day was going to be amazingly perfect.

The next day passed rather quickly and when I woke up the day before the wedding I was rather jittery. I looked over the gifts from my bridal shower (which was the week before) and smiled as I thought of when they brought in the "stripper."

My stripper turned out to be none other than Justin! They had his face and hair disguised so I wouldn't know it was him! It was actually funny. Since Justin was no longer a "great pop prince" and I took a break from my music to choreograph, we went out undisturbed.

He wanted to take me to Victoria's Secret for some "wedding night clothes." But, I told him that I had gotten enough of those from my bridal shower. We looked at some stuff from Seaman's for our house, which we hadn't bought yet!

We were still living in the apartment that I bought right after my album came out. What we really needed was a bigger bed, and a new living room set. After we bought a house, we could get more things.

Justin drove me to my friend Charlene's apartment, where I was staying that night. Awhile ago, Charlene had thought that Justin was obsessed and madly in love with her. She had even tried to seduce him.

After all the conflicts we had with Justin, she finally realized that even if he ever cared for her once, he never would love her like that. Actually, we became really good friends and she was one of my bridesmaids. I walked into her apartment, and gave Justin a goodbye kiss.

"Hey Hun!" Charlene said hugging me. "Are you excited?" she gushed.

"Oh my gosh, Char. You don't know how nervous I am! I'm…afraid," I said.

"Afraid of what? Honey, Justin loves you more than he loves himself and that's a lot," Char said giggling. I had to laugh at that.

"You're right…I don't know…I guess I'm just nervous. Wait…do you have everything?" I asked.

"I'm pretty sure I do, but, um… let's check and make sure that we do," she said.

I walked into her room, where all of my stuff was hanging up. I pulled out my checklist at the same time Charlene pulled out hers. We laughed at each other.

Why checklists? Well…I'm usually organized, but when I'm nervous or rushed, I always forget at least 3 things. So I had my mom make a checklist up. We went through everything and realized I forgot one thing from my "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue."

I had forgotten my something blue-my garter. Luckily, Char remembered she had it stashed somewhere special-in a Steve Madden shoebox at the bottom of her closet. We had everything finally! That night it took me awhile to fall asleep. I was so nervous.
