Chapter Six

Saturday 3:15 AM

"Oh God, I'm so tired!!" I moaned.

"I know, just imagine how Joey feels. He does this practically every night," Justin replied to my whining.

"Riiight," I said sarcastically. "He's probably immune to this."

"Thank God we don't have a photo shoot or anything tomorrow. I'm so glad we have about 2 ˝ weeks off! I can catch up on some missed rest."

"And…" I asked.

"And…some missed kisses." Justin said kissing me lighting on the lips.

I started laughing. "I just don't understand how this is going to work when we get out on the road. It's going to be like all of those Britney Spears questions."

"Well…at least I can say yes to these questions without feeling guilty about lying," Justin answered me.

"We really have to get to bed now."

"You mean we really should get to bed now," Justin said with an evil look. "Who said we were going to? I wanna take you somewhere."

"Oh God, where are you taking me at 3:30 in the morning? We're never going to get up once we fall asleep," I complained. I clearly was tired and I get all bitchy when I get tired.

"Stop complaining!! You'll see where I'm taking you. It's a real special place. You'll love it."

"I don't know if I'll love it at 3:30 in the morning."

"Oh you will," Justin said with confidence and slight cockiness.

I wouldn't budge from my spot, so he picked me up and carried me to his car.

"I can't believe you!!! Where are you taking me?" I cried as he blindfolded me.

"Somewhere that you'll love!"

We drove for a little while; say about 20 minutes. Then we stopped suddenly.

"Are we here yet Curls?" I asked.

"Yes," he answered solemnly.

"Well…can I take my blindfold off?" I asked sweetly.

"Not yet," he replied.

He helped me out of the car, and led me into the place. Suddenly I heard blasting music.

"No, I didn't take you to a club!" Justin shouted.

"Ha! How'd you know what I was going to ask?"

"Well, I guess I spend too much time with you. Maybe we should spend some time apart?"

"Just…are you serious? Do you really wanna end this?" I asked practically crying.

"Jess…no, of course not! It was meant as a joke!!" Justin cried out.

"OK…well, then can you please take this damn blindfold off of me now?"

"Fine, fine, fine!" he replied.

When he took the blindfold off of me, I found myself standing in a bowling alley with strobe lights and disco balls all around me. Colored flashing lights were going off all over.

"Oh Justin! This is so great! I can't believe you took me bowling!!" It was pretty funny that he would take me here.

"I knew that sometimes they had cosmic disco bowling nights when the place is open the whole night. I decided to try my luck."
