Rachel's bright green eyes searched the familiar Denny's resteraunt for Justin. Her eyes lit up immeadiatly when she saw him curled up in a booth drinking milk. He was wearing khaki shorts and a black t-shirt. He looked more than to die for.
'Ouch this boy knows how to impress a girl! He's looked good before, but this is too much!' Rachel told her heart that thudded in her chest as she made her way over to the table.
Justin sat boredly. He had been waiting about fifteen minutes for Rachel to show up. He questioned if she would. He didn't know what was happening. He assumed that meeting after all they had been through would be shaky and untasble, but the second they were together they were laughing and having fun like the good ol' days!
'The good ol' days! Listen to yourself Timbds! You're 20! The good times aren't that far behind!' Justin shook his head and laughed at his thoughts, 'W hat were the good ol' days? When I look back what will I remember the most?' He smiled, 'Rachel! The way she lights up a room with her smile, the way my troubles fade when I'm with her, the way the world seems to stop in time just for us when we're together. And especially they way she carried herself: her long legs carrying her gracefully across the room, her bright and exuberant smile, her beautiful blonde hair and sparkling green eyes, and damn the way she rolls her hips when she approaches you wearing... white shorts and a yellow tank top?!?...
"Rachel!" Justin snapped back to earth as her appraoch completed his day dream perfectly.
She smiled, "Hey Justy boy!" She rubbed his head.
Justin felt her fingers in his hair and almost died, "H-hi."
She ignored his obvious blushing, "How's it going?" She asked smoothly and slid intot he booth across from him.
Justin smiled at the way she could always make herself appear prepared for anything, "Good. I thought we should have breakfast together. Don't ask me why! I was bored and I have no clue where Lance is!"
Rachel cocked an eyebrow and looked at him doubtedly, "Riiiiiiiight!"
Justin kicked her lightly, "Shutup! I don't see you complaining! You showed up didn't you?"
Rachel's skeptical glance qucikly faded into a smile, "You're right Curly boy! I came!"
Justin grinned. He would have spoken but the waitress appeared. He studying her. She was older, probably mid fourties, with thin traces of gray hair. She was plump but had a friedly smile. A definate people person.
"Hi, my name is Judy and I'll be your waitress. Can I get you two lovebirds anything to drink?" She stated politely.
Justin blushed a little. He was about to cover up Judy's misunderstanding, but Rachel spoke first.
"Well Judy, I think I'll just have water," She smiled at Justin then turned back to Judy, "But I think we're ready to order."
Judy pulled out her pad and pen and waited.
Justin opened his mouth to speak but Rachel again cut him off.
"I would like a short stack with a side of bacon. Justin would like french toast with a side of eggs overeasy. And could you put some tabassco sauce on that. And he'd like a bowl of Apple Jacks with a large glass of milk! Thanks Judy!"
"That all for you?" Judy asked still writing.
"That'll do it!" Rachel said flashing a brillant smile.
Judy scurried away and Rachel turned to a gaping, open mouthed Justin.
Rachel laughed delighted, "That's what you wanted right?"
Justin nodded. He managed to close his mouth and smile, "How did you...?"
Rachel laughed again, "Justin, we dated three years! I know more about you than you know about yourself! From the places you shop at right down to the type of toothpaste you use!" Rachel thoughts outloud. "Of course any girlfriend should know that toothpaste thing about their boyfriend. I mean from all the...well, you know!"
Justin blushed, "You know what kind of toothpaste I use?"
Rachel grinned watching him blush, "Your a Crest kid babycakes!"
Justin laughed, "Now that's impressive! Or do I have the wrong word? Maybe it's obsessive!"
Rachel rolled her eyes sarcastically, "Now I know you men like to pretend you're all macho, but let's face it! You guys are just as aware of your girl's every detail!"
Justin looked at her incredously, "What!?!"
Rachel smiled, "Yeah!"
"Prove it!" Justin challenged.
Rachel nodded, "Okay Justin, you're on. Where was a I born?"
"Orlando," Justin answered without hestatation.
"What do I live for?" Rachel asked.
"Dancing," Justin said again without even thinking. Then he added, 'But these are all things anyone would know!"
"Oh yeah?" Rachel cocked an eyebrow.
"Yeah!" Justin said keeping a straight face.
"What's my favorite lip gloss?" Rachel pursed her lips.
"Strawberry kiwi!" Justin said a smile forming on his lips as he remembered the sweet taste of it that always lingered on his lips after he kissed her.
Rachel laughed loudly, "OMG Justin! Could ya answer that one any faster?! I knew you were a little on the touchy feely side but come on!"
Justin's cheeks darkened even more, "Sorry."
Rachel brushed it away with a warm smile, "Don't be!"
Rachel walked through the apartment door to see Lance and Nikki playing with James.
"How was breakfast with Prince Charming?" Lance teased.
Rachel rolled her eyes, "Breakfast with an old friend was nice!"
Nikki laughed, "James and I had a blast!"
"Good!" Rachel smiled as she scooped her son into her arms and kissed his nose, "I love you baby!"
James smiled and giggled, "Babdbdbaba" He spit as she struggled to make sounds with his mouth.
Rachel squealed, "You are too cute!!"
