Lance's small token of obedience was carried out the day after he recieved it. He had to get sick on stage. They all knew that he was going to do it, they just didn't know when. They were practicing their dance moves on stage. They were rehearsing for their next concert. At first Lance just started complaining and slowing down his movement. Then he started to sway. Suddenly he just fell over.
"Jesus Christ!" shouted Darren Henderson, their choreographer. He ran over to Lance and began to fan him with a book. "Someone call 911!"
"What's the number?" asked Joey.
Usually Joey didn't act this dumb, he was just in shock. Lance's eyes began to flutter and they opened and focused on Justin.
"I'm thirsty," said Lance.
He had such an innocent look on his face that Justin was almost crying from holding in his laughter. Darren handed him some bottled water.
"Are you OK?" he asked. He was obviously very worried.
"Yeah. I guess I was just a little dehydrated."
"Lance are you OK?" asked September running up to them. She enveloped him in a big hug.
"Yeah I'm fine. Why?" he asked, looking at her strangely.
"Oh God!" yelled Darren. "He must have amnesia from hitting his head!"
"Oh! Yeah, I'm fine. Just dehydrated," Lance said, blushing. His arms automatically went around her and he kissed her softly.
"I'm glad you're OK. JC made it sound like you were dead or something," said September.
Lance's angry green eyes turned to JC, who was trying to look guilty.
"Thanks JC," he said sarcastically.
"I thought that you'd rather have your girlfriend rather then some gay paramedics," he shrugged his shoulders.
"Yeah," Lance kissed the top of September's head.
Lance was mentally kicking his own ass. He hadn't meant to hurt her like that.
"Don't worry baby." He kissed her on her lips. "I'm gonna be around for a long long time."
But one thought remained in his mind. Would he?
Lulu's task was even simpler.
Lulu~ Wear Britney Spears shirt to school
Of course Lulu had refused. And her punishment had come quickly. As she was coming home from school one day she had fallen on her front porch and sprained her ankle. As she tried to discover the cause of her fall she noticed that her porch was covered in tiny brown marbles. In her rush she hadn't noticed them. So Lulu was temporarily out of their meeting for two weeks. Nothing eventfull happened, so she didn't really care. Not that she would have cared if something had happened.
JC and Mariette were sitting on the couch watching a movie. It was one of those chick flicks, " The Joy Luck Club". JC made Mqariette promise that she would never tell anyone that he had cried at the sad parts. Mariette shifted uncomfortably. It had been three weeks and her period still hadn't come. JC had a right to know even if she wasn't pregnant.
"Ummmm Josh?" she asked, rubbing his arm. He smiled down at her. "There's something I need to tell you," she trailed off and JC could sense her growing apprehension.
"What's wrong?"
"Well. . ."
"You can tell me. Oh wait hold on!" he said, turning back to the tv. "This is where she kills her baby."
Mariette groaned. It was too ironic. She knew then that she couldn't tell him. He wasn't ready to be a father. Not that she was ready to be a mother but right now, he was enjoying his fame and youth. She couldn't ruin that for him.
"Ok. . .what was it that you wanted to tell me?"
She smiled at him with tears in her eyes.
"I just wanted to tell you that I love you."
"Awww! I love you too Sunshine!" He rubbed noses with her and Mariette was content. For the moment.
