Part 2:Lost in the past

(EN: The story originally ended there, wouldn’t you happy with me if that happened? But by demand of some of my friends I continued it…you can Thank them on the message board.)

The party was for some kind of charity, Matt really liked. It had a Christmas theme considering the holiday was coming up and everyone seemed cheerful.

I continued to stand there in shock at the man in front of me. I knew it was him, in fact he hadn’t changed much at all. He didn’t notice me standing there gawking at him until Matt pulled me to a table where some of his colleagues sat.

“See guys, I told you she’d like this, I had to pull her away form the presenter’s table.” Matt said whole heartingly. I forced a smile again. Then they started to talk about the ‘Make A Wish Foundation’ which is what I think the party was for. My mind quickly drifted back into time to the most difficult breakup I had to endure.

I t was a surprise visit. He wasn’t supposed to see me. It had been one of the bad weeks where everything I did there was some teenage girl ridiculed me. I was even hit a couple times. I also missed my baby. I had a black eye and was suffering form insomnia so I looked even worse. I was laying on his bed crying with ‘ Show me the meaning of being lonely’ on repeat on his CD player. It was off his latest album Millennium. I received another call from a fan who called me a Bitch. I hung up and began pounding the pillow. In the middle of my screaming/ pounding session walked in Brian. He walked up to the bed in shock as I collapsed crying on the bed still unaware of his presence.

“Baby Pie, you okay?” he asked his voice full of concern. I looked at him feeling a shamed and unworthy to be there.

“What happened?” he asked, noticing my ravish appearance. He knelt down and took my hands.

“ I can’t take it anymore.” I whispered.

“Can’t take what anymore?” he asked knowing the answers to his question. His beautiful blue eyes began to tear also.

“I’m so sorry.” Was all he said afterward.
