Part 4:I can barely recall

I walked back to Brian.

“What happened?” he asked as if it was important. I told him what she did and where she went knowing he would worry about her all night anyway and we might as well help her now. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I walked out of the back door to Sheridan Hall and saw the lady sitting there in the shadows.

“Miss?” I asked and I came face to face with a familiar face. The face of who was once my Baby Pie. The look on her face was all too familiar to the one she had when our relationship ended. I hated to see her this way now as I hated it then. She after all was the one I had truly loved so long ago. That explained why she had been starring at me earlier this evening. But what caused her pain, now.

“What happened?” I asked. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

It was Brian, he must’ve dame here with the silver dress girl.

“Nothing.” I said answering his question. I forced myself to stop crying again.

“you can tell me what’s wrong.” He encouraged squatting beside me. That’s when I knew he knew who I was too.

“No I can’t” I said firmly.

“Is it Matt?” He asked. He knew about Matt because my Mom tried to invite him to our wedding.

“No, Matt doesn’t know.” I said. I think just by habit he grabbed my hand but still he held it. His blue eyes were filled with concern and I knew I wanted him. I shouldn’t have looked through that scrapbook and recalled this past love. My feelings for him seemed to be resurfacing, the whole reason for my crying. And yet here he is by my side, again.
