Her eyes got glassy again and she tried to get out of my arms but I didn’t let her, she finally got the hint and cried on my shoulder. After a little while she stopped, probably all cried out. She pulled away and this time I let her out, she sat and leaned against the wall before taking her cell phone out of her purse. I sat and watched as she dialed.
“Hey Matt, Yeah um… I’m leaving, I just don’t feel good and this old friend I met in the bathroom offered to take home.”
“Uh-huh, sure love you too, bye.” She said in a very fake cheerful tone. How I wished she was mine again.
“Do you want me to take you home?” I asked.
“I’d rather walk.” She said getting up and brushing herself off. The black dress complemented her well. It was about an inch above the knees. Her figure hadn’t changed a bit, it was the same exact body I held in my arms at night.
“I would prefer it if you didn’t walk, it’s dangerous out here at night and your not dressed for it.” I said. Then I got out my cell phone and called Amers.
“Hey Hun?” I asked.
“Yes.” She said.
“ I’m going to drive that girl home and stop at the store for some stuff then I am going to head home. Can you get one of the guys to take you home?” I asked.
“Sure, you all partied out all ready?” She asked giggling.
“ I guess you could say that,” I shared.
“All right babe Love you!”She exclaimed.
“I love you too buh-bye now.” I said. I hated to lie. It wasn’t that I didn’t love her, it’s just that I didn’t LOVE her.
