“If you don’t want to tell me, its okay” He commented. Damn, why did have to be so understanding.
“We need to talk.” He said. I couldn’t argue with that.
“Not at my house, my kids are asleep.” I shared.
“That’s fine, my house is open, Amy won’t be home for awhile.” He said.
“Why not?” I asked being nosy.
“She doesn’t like my house very much, she thinks its a little too blue. Amers is also a big partier.” He shared.
“Oh, you still live in the same house?” I asked.
“Yeah, surprisingly enough.” He said. This was going to be difficult.
“Mind if I stop at the store first?” He questioned.
“Not at all.” I replied, wanting to delay our chat so I could gain control of myself. He pulled up to Safeway.
“Can you finally enter stores without being mobbed?” I asked.
“Yeah most of our fans have matured a bit and if not security is right behind us.” He explained. I followed him in and since it was about nine there wasn’t many customers and he didn’t get mobbed.
“You want anything while we are here?” he offered.
“That’s okay, I buy my own food nowadays.” I said and he noticed how odd it was for him to ask me that.
“Sorry lately it feels as if nothing has changed.” He explained. *Amen to that* I thought. But its not like I was going to go to his house and would jump his bones for old times sake. He was right we needed to talk and as soon as he decided he had enough snacks we left. I had regained my composure and I was ready to open up.
