(Melody's POV)
As we finished dessert our eyes linked and we both had goofy grins on our faces in anticipation of what would happen next. Maggie left with the plates and a song began, "Let the music take control of your soul…its the greatest high, set the world on fire, and it feels alright, and we dance and it feels alright…" He approached me at the same moment I stood up. We linked and followed the lyrics. It was all for the music. And it was alright. It was simple ballroom dancing. It was also amazing being in his arms. Our dancing seemed to give the world a new view, life a new understanding. The tune changed to a fast one. Which I immediately to a liking too. I dragged him into salsa dancing. It had been a long time since I did that. He wasn't that good at first but soon it didn't matter. It was just the appeal, the lust, the passion and intrigue. It was inspiring and a wonderful way to express everything I felt from the heart. I had forgotten about the circumstance, I had forgotten about the area around us. It was just us; in a spinning oblivion of our own desires. That was one of the most beautiful moments in my life. It was like magic. Here and now was all that mattered. The hunger in our eyes and in our hearts was expressed in the most incredible fashion and we didn't stop until about 3 songs later when we just held each other moving to a slow tune. Unable to contain myself any longer I pulled him in for a kiss. It was slow. But when our lips finally met it was as if the temperature in my body went up in less than a second.
(AJ's POV)
I awoke in the middle of the night with Harmony still in my arms. She was so beautiful. She was so kind. She was so sensitive though. To everything around her. Quite like the House Of Music was. She reacted to everything around her, more drastically than most people. I firmly believe that is because of her attachment to music. It to was sensitive. It made me worry about her touring soon. She thankfully had another 'free' day tomorrow but soon would come more recording and promotion. I hoped she was ready. I know she is strong but is she strong enough. Or will she have to gain that strength. I sighed in disgust at my paranoia but it was natural. I only wanted to protect the one that I loved so much. She stirred in her sleep and soon awoke to face me.
"Hunnie, why are you still awake?" She asked.
"I actually just woke up." I shared. She smiled. Then gently kissed me on the nose and then the lips. I sat up.
"I am going to get Maggie to bring me a drink, you want?" I asked.
"Water please" She announced while sitting up also.
"Okay, I'll be right back." I said. I crept downstairs. The house was always so amazing. Maggie was in the kitchen doing dishes.
"Hey Hot Stuff." I joked. She smiled.
"What do you need?" She asked.
"An ice tea and lemon water." I replied.
"So how are you and Harmony?" She asked while pouring a drink.
"Great!" I exclaimed.
"I was surprised you two didn't join Melody and Brian." She commented.
I was taken aback for a moment but thankfully she did not notice.
"Yeah well they like to be alone." I shared. She smiled.
"I am so glad my two girls are in love." She explained before I left with the drinks back up to Harmony. She was asleep already. I smiled, she was so at peace. I soon joined her after sipping the tea I had earlier craved.
