~*Back at the Party*~
Jeff walked over to Lissa and put his arms around her. Seeing the genuine worried look on her face, he knew she just needed someone to hold her.
"She's going to be alright." Jeff said
Lissa looked up at him and said,"I hope you're right. But I'm still worried about her."
"Don't worry, she's not alone. Brian's with her. He will take good care of her."
"I know, it's just..." Lissa started to say when Jeff interrupted her.
"Come on, dance with me. You need to get your mind off of it. And besides I haven't really had a chance to talk to my girl all night." Jefff said
"Okay, your right."
As they went to the dance floor a song came on that fit Jeff's feelings perfectly.

AJ watched them as they danced.
"Hey J, what's going on between you and Lissa?" Nick asked
"I don't know. I thought we connected but I see loverboy has a good hold on her."
"I don't think it's like that. She is just friends with him." Nick said
"Yeah, well I'm gonna make sure of that." AJ said as he walked towards Lissa.
Jeff was thinking to himself. It is now or never. I have to tell her how I feel before I chicken out again.
"Lissa, can we talk?" Jeff asked as the song ended.
"Sure"
Lissa and Jeff walked out onto the balcony together.
"I have something that I need to tell you and I don't know how to say it." Jeff started to say when AJ came out on the balcony.
"Excuse me. Oh I'm sorry, am I interrupting something?" AJ asked with a conserned look on his face.
"Well, actually..." Jeff started to say.
"Alex, what's the matter?" Lissa asked
"Have either of you seen Kevin?" AJ asked.
"No, not in a while. Why?" Lissa asked
"I can't find him and I know he drank a little bit too much tonight. I'm just worried about him." AJ said
"Oh no, Amy was drinking with him. We need to find them." Lissa said
"Do you want me to come with you?" Jeff asked Lissa
"No, I need you to stay here with Cate in case they come back." Lissa said
She leaned in and whispered in Jeff's ear,"Thanks. I owe you one. We will talk later, I promise." And she kissed him on the cheek. Then Lissa and AJ went to look for Kevin and Amy.
~*Back at the house*~
Em poured her heart out to Brian, telling him everything about her relationship with Dave. Brian just sat there content holding her and listened to her talk. For some reason he felt at ease just holding Em. And the thing was, he didn't want to let go. Em realized that Brian was holding on to her very tight and she actually didn't mind. She became real silent and for the first time in months she felt at peace.
"Brian"
"Yeah"
"Thanks for listening." Em said sleepily.
"Your welcome." Brian said as he pulled her closer to him.
~*At the elevator*~
Kevin and Amy stumbled into the elevator together. Amy tripped and fell to the floor.
"Oops...watch out there's an extra step." Amy said giggling.
"Here let me help you up." Kevin offered.
Once he helped her up and they were looking into each others eyes something happened. Kevin leaned in and gave Amy the most passionate kiss she has ever had.
"WOW!" she exclaimed
"Yeah and there is more where that came from. Come on he said as the elevator door opened. While they were walking down the hall they couldn't keep their hands off of each other. When they finally got inside Kevin's room their clothes started flying everywhere. Kevin layed Amy down on the bed and he started kissing her again. They were half dressed when they fell asleep in each others arms.
~*Back downstairs*~
"AJ, where should we look first?" Lissa asked
"Lets check Kevin's room." AJ suggested while thinking devilish thoughts to himself.
Lissa and AJ got on the elevator to go up to Kevin's room and halfway there the elevator stopped.
"What happened?" Lissa asked as the lights went out.
"I don't know, I think we are stuck." AJ said as he moved behind Lissa.
All of the sudden she felt his presence.
"AJ, where are you?"
"Right here," he whispered softly into the back of her neck.
This sent chills up her body. Lissa tilted her head trying to shake the chills when AJ started to kiss her neck. She then felt his hands on her waist.
"We can't do this." She moaned.
"Why not? We have nothing else to do. And you know you want me just as much as I want you."
Lissa knew he was right. She couldn't deny that she wanted him too.
